Why wouldn't we take his post seriously? It is true after all. Aaron Campbell has changed jobs and is now a producer for DDO. The OP simply asked who was taking over from him here at LOTRO, which seems to be a perfectly reasonable question to ask imho.

I would also appreciate an introduction to LOTRO's new Senior Producer. (Or re-introduction if someone has been promoted to this position.)

We haven't heard much about the future of LOTRO since January, so if the position hasn't been eliminated completely, it would be nice to be reminded we're still on-track.

The OP never mentioned the Exec. Producer, who we should in fact all know by now i.e. Kate Paiz. Rather the OP posed his question concerning the Senior Producer. Furthermore the OP never claimed to know who the new Senior Producer is hence his question ... asking who the new senior producer is.

From what I can see a relevant and, at least from my perspective, interesting question has been asked by the OP and with all due respect apart from yourself and enginekid so far most of the people in the thread seem interested in discussing the question and not some nebulous notion of trolling. Perhaps we could focus on the question at hand as it was posed in the OP so that those of us interested in the topic can have a discussion about it.

That's an interesting point. Aaron said hello to the DDO community on 1st July, which would make one think that LOTRO's new producer would have said hello to us around the same time. Perhaps the position hasn't been filled yet or of course it could be that the recent holiday period in the U.S. has simply meant the new LOTRO Senior Producer hasn't had a chance to do so yet. Hopefully we shall hear more this week and it would be great if the new chap (or chapess) gave us a sneak peek at what is ahead like Aaron did for the DDO community.

No, no. He's past history is NOT AT ALL irrelevant with this "legit question".

If i had an account that did posts about how "oops i spilled the beans (MMO-Troll thread)" or every single post is about doom and gloom or "how matz dis game sugz", my post history does matter regarding the direction of the new thread i've made. Especially when the thread is "this game lost its producer".
So judging by his past history and how he made an account in these past 7 days to create grief or troll people, yes even this legitimate question is towards that direction.

To me it does make no difference at all. And you know why? because i don't know the number and type and jurisdiction of each.
If any of you could write down while we wait for someone to tell us who the new Senior Producer is , people that know [after all it makes a difference for them like the OP for example which cares so much that he HAS to make a thread], should write down what's a senior, executive, and all other types of producers do. Then I might care.

It is possible the responsibilities of Senior Producer have been rolled into Kate Paiz's job description and or split and passed on to other Lotro team members. In which case I doubt we will hear anything.

Job names, responsibilities and even their existance change, disappear and are created over time.

Like when Podcast Casual Stroll To Mordor announced that they are abandoning the game, or the decline with the numbers, doomsayers, players post about leaving the game, players not pre ordering Hytbold Deep, players asking if the franchise is continued, change of phase within the company itself such us change of Franchise Producers. Wow really they are all trolling.

Just to be in the safe side then, LOTRO is great I am not playing it currently but the folks that may find my post as a troll post that are still playing may find my post suited since I commented that this game is great. Just to be in their NON-TROLL side.

CSTM quit there podcast & mostly there blog but they didn't abandon the game, they still play.

This is an outright lie. Link me a post where they said that, or else keep your lies to yourself. This lie makes the validity of your post nil, especially when you call it "Hytbold Deep" and then say you aren't even playing the game currently.
