They get nothing worth that much that subscribers don't get. And that they don't have to buy anything does not mean they aren't using TP for anything.

I am sick and tired of having areas blocked off because I have to be the almighty "member" status. Is anyone else tired of it and want to see middle earth free for everybody?

I did not read the entire thread so excuse me if this has already been asked and answered, my question is, what parts of the landscape are you experiencing that is "blocked off"? As far as I know any free-to-play account can travel the entire landscape of every map.

Perhaps a more human suggestion would be to stop giving them free content? wildermoors , Ettenmoors for example. And stop giving them Free TP! If they don`t want to spend £ on Expacs then they should be forced to grind TP like F2P do.

I now assume you are just having fun, because this is too far off-base to be taken seriously.

Lifetimers paid for the perks up front, giving Turbine a major cash infusion when it was needed. We took a big risk; if the game tanked, we would have wasted our money. There had to be enticements to get players to pay that much up front.

We still pay for things as we go -- including expacs. It's not all free to us unless there just isn't anything else we want off the store. The TP received per month might by an item or two from the store, but not much more. Your contention that all lifetimers get everything for free is incorrect.

Trolls can be found everywhere, all the way from Trollshaws to the forums... Either way, reading this entire post, yes every single line, made me happy! Happy because it has made me rethink my desire of getting a lifetime sub, I don't have any desire of it at all anymore, honestly.

I started playing some 4ish years ago and I took the bait and swallowed it with hook, sink, line and fisherman in one quick mouthful. At that time there was no F2P at all, if I remember correctly I could test it for 10 days or so, after that, buy SoA and pay sub or get lost, simply. I did of course buy SoA with a big smile and started paying sub. But as months passed I started to think, I love this game, I will play until one of us departs so, why not get life sub? And as I'm not known to take swift decisions these thoughts kept on, month by month until I decided to myself that it was time to buy it, I just wanted to wait for the next expansion and see if they made any changes to the price. And the release came and along with that F2P was released and my chance to buy life went down Barliman Butterburs private lavatory! And how have I regret that! Until now....

This post made it clear to me that I pay for something I love, both by sub and the occasional TP and the expansions, and over my lunch, just know, I have decided to stop being a cheap nut avoiding buying perks in the store and start spending to get my weapons stats awesome!

So thanks for trolling this post, you know of which im talking about!

One last thing:

I have curious story about that. A couple of years ago I was visiting my daighter and staying in a B&B in her town. Using their wifi and internet connection I was able to login to the game with no problem, but I was unable to access the forums because "my IP address had been banned". Heaven knows what some earlier guest has been getting up to.
