The auto-log out has been increased to 6 hours (instead of 45 minutes).

Thank you! I actually did write a Chrome extension to keep myself logged in here, but with a 6 hour interval I might not keep using it. Logging in once or twice a day is tolerable.

Credit where credit is due. I asked if we could make it look better and more obvious and one of our web devs took that idea and created what you see. I think he did a great job while still keeping it inline with the overly 'simple is better' feel of the new site.

Indeed, the changes are very nice and very welcome. Thanks to you and the designer/dev!

One thing though, is that the winning characters list is no longer sorted by server. In the old system it was sorted by server; not sure when the change occurred, either with the initial implementation of the new site or with these recent changes. In any case, I would really appreciate a return to sorting by server. Thanks!

Ok So now you fixed the display for lotto but how about having some lottos. It was said that we would have the lotto back once this site was up. So were are they? Why bother to fix a display feature it there in nothing to display seems a bit Moot to me. We use to have 3 lottos a week now we have 3 in 4 months. Sorry I am not on the HIP HIP hooray list.

The log on thing is great but I don't have a reason to use the forum anyway but once in a blue moon since there no Character list anymore no blog no lorebook no Lotto, again I don't see the point. This is just a forum now. I don't see any reason to stay logged in or not why would anyone want to hang out in the forum for 6 hours anyway. I am pretty sure is at my PC I am to be playing the game not playing forum troll.

When this was a full featured web site I used it as home page now it just a forum it just a link on my favorites. If I have question or something to look up log in do whats need to done and close the page why would anyone want to stay logged into a forum for 6 hours. You could have left it the way it was and made it so I could save my log in like every other site on the planet, even my bank lets me keep my username name loaded. I mean if my bank can do that with a security issue whats your boggle?

If my user name is there it take all for 2 seconds to log in. I just don't see the point to staying logged into a forum it not a chat server there no ground breaking news there is never any announcements of up and coming events til the event is half over.

So if its 45 min or 6 hours don't change a thing. I still have to log every time and type my username and password. Now fix that and you be doing something. I did 100,000 in business on Ebay in a year and they remember my user name and password and in 10 years I have never had my account hacked and I am still using the same info for 10 years

No Lotto No Woot I just can't get excited over anything to do with a forum, it just a forum I have on on my Kin site too, works like a charm and took 5 min to make and it remembers the username too!

There have been several. The most recent/longest one was for farmer's Faire tickets, of which two of my characters won. The one I liked the best was the one with the Perlino steed - which a lot of my chars won.

How many hours did you have that last lotto up for? How many lotto's in that last week? The first week was cool no doubt !!I really thought you guy might just come thru! I give the Atta Boy!!and top that with WOOT! Too on the first week to 10 days. How about a nice schedule like used to have so we don't have to use that 6 hour log in just to see if there is a lotto up that last 2 or 3 hours. Nice too to put lotto's just for folks at 85 level. How about the rest of not sitting around at cap. Make me feel a bit like chop liver. I guess is you're not at cap we don't count we can just drool over the nice stuff they got. Would have been nice if the rest of us could have join in the raider games too.

Oh 12 lotto's 22 days well it must be broken seems to be a broke about 10 days ago or so would you mind posting just what lottos where up the last 10 days of so so I check it against my records. You might just have a real problem the last lotto my wife or myself won was on 8-8 but we don't have any toons above 65 level that was 13 days ago. we check for a lotto about 3 or 4 times a day and we are on almost every day and even if we don't play we check for lotto's it would seem to me something went wrong about 13 days ago then and no lotto are coming thru here I hope you just did not make then all just for the end gamer or just pop lotto's that would be a bit unfair as it seems it was working so good that first week

So you count test lotto's. why not just put up full set of lotto's and see how it goes that would be a good test on say I don't know Monday, Wednesday, Friday and we'll test that out I be glad to give a full report in detail on just how it goes. I have about 150 toons on 10 servers and 3 accounts for me and 2 accounts for my wife and about 150 toon for her too. I would be glad to help out and tell just how it goes. I can bet it works real good just like it did the first 10 days.
Now just tell what info you would need so I can give a good report really would love to help out any way we can to get this thing done. its a lot of work to log that many toons but I would do it if would help. I better get started logging now so they all have fresh log in's now

I mean don't sweat it you only giving away 1's and 0's if something goes wrong the computer makes more. Trust your self man post it and it will work !! :-)

BTW you still can't make a post is takes any amount of time to write with out monkeying around 3 times to get it post but it does load faster to tell you have to go back and reload the page after 3 tries and one white screen that hangs. its no big deal don't need it much anyway

Well, either things are broken for me, or else you're running short lotteries and I've been really unlucky. I've checked the lottery page pretty much every day since the new forums arrived (sometimes more than once a day), and have managed to find one up exactly twice. Both times were 2 weeks ago or so.

Speaking of which, I might have more luck finding them if the "Lotteries" button on the forum could show an icon or something when a lottery was running... I certainly don't check them every single time I come to the forums, but that's partly because I've seen "No Active Lotteries" virtually every time I have. The natural assumption is that they're not currently running at all.

The last lottery I won was on 7th July. I look regularly but haven't seen any since. I understood they were weekly-ish. I would like to know if they are only available for a little time, perhaps in US time as that might explain me missing them - can only see them in the evening GMT.

I suspect that there is nothing wrong, but just that I am missing them and I would like to take part. any information that I can have to enable me to take part would be welcome. Thanks.

The log in extension is great - I regularly read the forums but rarely contribute. I do like the improvements to them. thanks to all concerned.

There's your problem right there. Most of the lotteries as (I'm guessing) they tweak things and make sure that everything is working, have been short, I think the longest I've seen were last Friday for around 12 hours or so. Many that I've seen have had ending times of less than an hour when I've entered them (7 minutes for one). Right now I can see two lotteries up, one for levels 1-10 only, which I can see but not enter as I don't have any characters in that level range and one for level 85 only which I can enter on my level 85 characters.

This is a long standing issue and unfortunately not one we can do much about. The data updates when it updates and all we can do is occasionally thump the boxes. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't, other times it appears not to them suddenly does.

there is one change today: autocomplete is now enabled in the login form. - So the browser now remembers your username and password.
