I killed at least 50 mobs and never saw one token drop. I picked up the collect 50 quest in MD. Is there something else I need to do to activate the event? If they are that rare, I'm going to skip it.

I did some math. At 2500 tokens for the T3 title, Turbine expects at least 700 character on a server to reach 'Bountiful Bounders'. =)

I risk the wrath of all those less fortunate than me, but here goes:

I killed orcs and half-orcs outside of Snowbourn for about one hour this morning. I was fighting from horseback. During that hour, I got 60 Bounders Tokens. They are a yellow item and it is called "Bag of Bounders Tokens." Out of the 4 bags that dropped for me, 2 were 20-token bags and 2 were 10-token bags. I am sorry that others had poor luck, but I will not apologize for my good luck. =p

This is very similar to the Fragments of Ring-Lore event that occurred before the release of Eregion. If memory serves, the drop rate was low when the event first launched and gradually increased.

While it's unfortunate that they're not getting the tokens, won't they still help out your server with its overall goal? I don't see how they could be too mad considering that fact, unless they're just in it for themselves.

You are right, but I think everyone wants to be able to buy some of the cool items being offered by the Token Vendor. While the horse looks good, I want to see some of those housing decorations. The dragon painting sounds pretty interesting, as does the Boar Fountain.

You are right, but I think everyone wants to be able to buy some of the cool items being offered by the Token Vendor. While the horse looks good, I want to see some of those housing decorations. The dragon painting sounds pretty interesting, as does the Boar Fountain.

I'm hoping that the drop rate will increase once the server total has been reached. The rate is probably so low to ensure we do not reach the target too fast.

why ppl are complainin??? in less than 120 kills in one of my alts thats 45 and is deeding for salamanders in evedim that are lv 34 in under an hour i got 4 bags of tokes :1st:20 tokens 2cond :10 3rd :5 tokens 4th : 5 tokens.....and they dont only drop in landscapes!!!!!is cause im hobbit burg??? rub some luck,spend less time whinning on forums and be in game or in other mmo

I can't believe the negativity...this is not a 1 week event, it will run for several weeks, so expect commensurate drop rates. Would it really be fun if all the servers could finish it by next week? The idea, as I read it, is to pick these up as you go, not endlessly go seeking them. This event has barely started, so maybe relax, quest, skirmish, whatever...and if you get some bounders tokens, so much the better.
