Not impressed. The legendary looks to be an awful deal. I still think these expansions are overpriced. Will wait for sale. My PS4 will be at my house on the 15th, I think I'll get by.

Unless you were in beta, how can you comment about the new combat system or the big battle system? And if you were in beta, then I'd imagine, as has been stated elsewhere on these forums, that you under an NDA not to disclose information about content which is still in development... That said, I think its a touch on the pricey side, especially considering that (iirc) RoR was £40, whereas this is £45 (please correct me if I'm wrong!) Also, what does it mean by quest log slots? Why would I ever need more than the 50-54 quests at one time that I currently have? Aside from that, the other features on the preorder looks pretty decent and what I'd expect.

Yea not impressed either. I don't understand why the Base Edition gives you a Steed of the Hammerhand that you don't get with the Premium Edition -- instead you get warsteed appearances. EDIT: nevermind if you click on the item links in the page below, a popup describes them in more detail. The Warsteed appearance gives you the Steed too.

This page also describes a Legendary Bundle upgrade at checkout that gives you a bunch of LI stuff -- plus they have a tie-in to The Hobbit movie: http://www.lotro.com/en/helmsdeep

Not trying to rain on your parade, but the class changes are coming for everyone, regardless of whether they buy HD or not. At least that was how the not-too-subtle class changes with RoI worked...

So 36€ for a qp and a new battle thingy we know squat about.... think I'll wait for now.

PS. yes I know that some consider the epic, level cap, crafting etc to be part of the expansion and so but lets be honest. In the end one has to look for the difference between not paying anything and paying 36€, as it stands you get some titles, cosmetics, a qp and the battles. Personally I'm not willing to fork over that kind of money for it but I'm sure some people will

    So... HISTORICALLY......

How much might the expansion end up being in TP?

Typically how long after release is the expansion available to buy with TP?

    Thanks in advance!!

You at least saw te changes? I can see a lot of players complaining without even tried yet. The only reason i can see is people that dont want to learn again the classes and wanna keep the faceroll at landscapes, PvP, instances, etc.
I prefer changes because it opens the possiblity of a more challenging gameplay, than the actual boring faceroll wherever you go.

The legendary bundle... what is 'legendary level cap increase'? I presume its a scroll of delving, but confirmation would be good.

But didn't you see, you get free tickets to see the new Hobbit film, ONLY AVAILABLE IN THE US, so a Pre-Order bonus that half the player base cant use. Go Turbine.
I dont hug, I keep my distance, about 40m.

    Legendary level cap

So... we've got a level cap increase of 10 and additional you can get a legendary level cap increase? What's that about? Is it a new level cap for legendary items? Or something else entirely which only buyers of the legendary upgrade receive?

And why should we pay another $40.- for ony 3 star-lit crystals, 1 relic removal scroll and a premium relic pack + an unknown amount of extra legendary levels or something else?

It seems earlier legendary editions were much better packed!

Basic looks pretty much the same as last year. No problems there.

Premium seems to be a mid-point between Heroic and Legendary. Main plus being the big TP gain of course, the rest is pretty much the same as we've seen before.

All in all, no surprises here. Thinking I'd go for the Basic though, since fluff isn't really my thing.

Since forum playerbase isn't even the half of lotro population, and less than half of forum users are QQ about the new expansion, i would say that you're for sure with the GREAT part of player base.

Will need more info about the big battles before even considering Pre-Purchasing.
And uh Legendary edition i see what you did there.......still it's a pretty bad deal, even if i could redeem the movie ticket. (Props for finally tying in the movie though)
    Nothing here matters.
