Does the Premium one not include the Stone of the Homburg? I don't see it listed on the Premium page. Everything else from the lower pack comes with the higher one but the Stone if it doesn't have it.

Here's my dilemma, I have b-day money which I put towards pre-order & that will lower the cost for me. However my thing is I pre-order what if I don't like the class revamps & trait system. I do like some of the pre-order bonuses & that's the problem. Sigh... what to do, what to do... LOL

I haven't found any quantity/quality info yet. There was mention of 3 new epic books with HD (although how many chapters per book is unknown). No mention on the number of big battle instances (is it just 1? 2? 3?). No changes to the Moors have been mentioned. No mention of how many new landscape quests are in the new region. There has been mention of class revamps which will turn out similar to warsteeds, which I thought was major fail.

Not that I am going pre-order HD either way, but my gosh, give players some meaty info if you expect them to preorder instead of just fluff and hope they have blind faith.

Yeah, It would be nice to have some of the features fleshed out. I'm sure we'll see more of that once it is released. However, they would probably sell more preorders if folks knew more about what they were getting.

It's because the bonus from the stone is included in the back-slot shield.

I'd still prefer the stone to be included to give the option of using a different back item and still getting the +25%.

I thought Class revamps and trait system were going to be available for all players,no matter if you bought expansions or not...

I think his point is that if he doesn't like the changes he's not going to play the game, which means buying the expansion is a waste of money.

You're right of course. We tried with various companies in europe to provide the same option to players there, but none worked out. We actually held the announcement and pre-purchase while we tried to work out the issues, but were still unsuccessful. We finally had to just accept that it wasn't going to be possible in Europe and go ahead and launch the pre-sale today.

So why not include say 1,000 extra Turbine Points for the non US customers? It would cost you nothing and create nothing but good will and remove the bitter taste that is in my mouth and others because of the unfair nature at the moment?

Because, some would rather have the TP than the ticket, and that's an even bigger mess. This enables them to generate more revenue for WB because you might take others to see the movie who will purchase a ticket.

After living thru Turbine expansions enough to have learned a few things, I will not pre-order anything else. It has usually boiled down to "Hey folks, I have shiny new product that doesn't work as intended and I can't get help to run properly, but isn't being first a hoot?

I'll wait to see if the expansion is anything like their latest "mounted fix" for Rohan....we trade some lags for uncontrolled where-the-heck-is-this-mule-going-now bursts when trying to select nodes. Anybody care to bet the bugs aren't invited this time?

I am gonna hold out pre-ordering until the NDA is lifted. I don't wanna risk handing Turbine my money to find out the new content / class changes are terrible.

Why wouldn't you reduce the price for non-us players then?

Possibly because then they'd have to make that same discount [for the Legendary Upgrade pack] possible to even those in the US who won't be using the movie ticket (hence a worthless trinket). In other words, the offer is what it is, and we either like enough of it to purchase the whole thing or we don't.

Besides, it's not like all those items aren't available in the game for TP. You could buy the discount TP package and get it all [items in the Legendary Upgrade] in the Store without buying the Legendary Upgrade.
