that implies I dislike the idea that we basically return to how the class was prior to the RoI godmode handed down to us. which I don't.

however with the dumbing down of gear and weapon swapping if they aren't able to keep the rotations interesting or mildly skillful then I'll be giving up on freepside altogether and just finishing the current rank on reaver.

You may get more than you wish for, from what I hear DN is so high into the Martial Champion line that traiting Berserker means going with no heals at all, not even Bracing Attack.
