From this post, it looks like each server not being able to exactly plan is part of the plan.

I suppose having my hunter transport the hobbit to the Camp Site Fire at Dagoras' Camp in Nan Curunir is against the rules, isn't it.![]()
It would be fast, though.
Aha, I must keep a look out for this hobbit.
My kinship leader Angerz and myself did The Shire to Isengard run with two chickens and no outside help just over a week ago (although we did actually get some random people follow us from the Lone Lands into Trollshaws, they ran behind us and didn't clear anything that I saw). I will keep the route secret but we did go "off-road" for very long stretches.

I've done dunland and enedwaith portions of 'the wanderer' deed with a lv22 warden, no outside help. Possible. Also, insane.
Oops, it took me to the wrong thread! We are doing this on Gilrain tonight![]()

We have left the wandering spark (Gilrain) to find the Song of Gold (Laurelin)...
Right. So. Gilrain, 7:30pm UK time. I'm guessing this is some sort of prisoner exchange. Lothrandir for some worthless hobbit. Hadacar is a 'orrible little 'obbit. Let's get rid of him.
Got my 1st FTP hobbit rolled and leveled to lvl 10 on Laurelin last night - now to use the weekend to get done a few more on other servers.
Is there a list somewhere of the EU servers (fits better my game time) so I know which ones to favour?
Thanks.
Edit: Nevermind - found a list.![]()

Won't work for two reasons.
1) Many areas have a minimum level to summon (we thought to hold a kinship meeting in Edoras, except that you need to be L70 to use a Summoning Horn to bring someone there)
2) When it says "[Player name here] is making a swift journey to Dagoras's Camp. Will you join him?" and he says no.
And yikes....the finisher IS the Gatecrashers?
Ack... two rules I learned on Gilrain today as a level 30-something...
1) Don't try to get too far ahead of the pack and
2) Beware the Dunlandish COWS
The lag was horrible. As a native Gilrainian, I've never seen lag like this before. A level 10 died before my eyes in trollshaws even though my PS was on the mob long before it hit him. I was just running in the same place. The multi layers were a nightmare also. Had to go in a map in front of the main group several times to be able to be in the same layer. The only ones that actually took Sap to Isen, were the people in his raid group. Everyone else was hitting mobs in different layers or in extremely low priority.
I think it is too late now, but I think that you must change the rules in future events. Let it be about how many 10lvls we manage to get to Isengard. Imagine, several groups starting in 5 min intervals, each guarding a 10lvl. If you want to make this a cross server event, you can even require that the 10lvl toons have no other alts it that server. A few days preparation so that people can roll new alts and find groups to escort them and we are good to go.
Server populations can get even if we actually compare the percentage of groups started, with the groups that they delivered their low levels.
It was a great fun! Hope more of these events will come in the future!
The lag reminded me of an event we had on Gilrain at the start of Mirkwood (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klHKFP73RD0). Only then the server did crash!

You may not be able to join the raid that Sapience's character is in but you can certainly catch up. I and a couple of other people were providing fairly frequent location updates since people that were not in the same layer weren't always aware of the route that Sapience took and would have had trouble getting back to the group otherwise.
Are they doing all the servers today (Friday)? Or just one?

We did a chicken race to Isengard on Crickhollow and 4-5 of us made it, but there's a big difference in that chickens don't pull that crazy aggro of every woodchuck and beaver in the land once you get into the higher level zones. This should definitely be harder than chickens despite the higher morale of a level 10 hobbit (which would still be useless in Dunland).
Sapience,
Quick question - where will the server announcements be? Here, FB, Twitter?
