Why GM and Turbine allow Rank farming?

    Hi,
Sorry for my bad english. A few weeks ago, in the EttenMoors of Sirannon (France) my mates and myself caught a guardian who was farming his pvp ranks.
He was fighting against several green afk revears and I immediately report with a ticket as everybody should do in such a situation.
My mates send tickets too and we believed that GM could ban his account.
we gathered many proofs such as screenshots and videos:

Unfortunately, he was still connected many days after these facts and today another player of Sirannon makes an other video :
This video proove that this player is still abusing.

I thought (considering this post https://www.lotro.com/forums/showthr...rming-Official) that the multiples ways to verify players are participating to this behaviour are ineffective indeed.

So please, your rules must be respected.

I'm not too familiar with the pvp zone, but my guess is rank farming doesn't involve rewarding turbine points. So those are not farming and spending TP are not worth investigating. Just like these low life gold farmers who sit there and farm gold all day. TP can be purchased through real life currency, that is was makes Lotro's wheels turn. So fixing the pvp zone and fixing the Lotro economy is not at the top of the list. IMO

Ignore that other guy. You are correct. Farming is against the rules and Turbine should investigate and possibly even ban that Guardian. Turbine won't tell you about it, so the Guardian will simply either stop showing up or not. Best you can do is keep reporting, and make sure the evidence is there for them. Good luck.

This is the best course of action. Report them in game.

One of our rules is also to not permit people to call out players on the forums for their actions in game. Or to discussion GM/Moderation actions (or percieved lack there of).

Also, just a reminder, the action we take is at our discretion after a review of the situation and, when possible, a discussion with the person that was reported. In no event will we ever discuss it with anyone other than the person being reported.
