I think it's pretty clear that, for whatever reason, Windfola will not be receiving an influx from Brandywine (or at least as many as we had hoped). This calls for some discussion.
For the past week or so, I have logged creep before logging freep every evening to develop some sort of battle decision in order to get action started. Recently it's often meant meeting at GTA with as many freeps I can dig up in about 15 minutes (usually 4-5), and fighting approximately the same number of creeps. From there we usually have fights for hours, leading to larger groups and sometimes eventually 1v1s. It's been a lot of fun, and I appreciate the creeps willingness to somewhat "force" action a tad, and coordinate some.
That being said, are there any other suggestion from freeps/creeps about what I or other PvPers should be doing to create/sustain action? I am a self-confessed noob to the Ettenmoors- I've been out here for about 4 and a half months, and I've only been attempting to lead groups for about two weeks. Some questions I'd like answered:
- Is there anything that, as a freep leader, I should be doing differently?
- Is there anyone else out interested in taking lead of freep groups in the future? Like I said, I am a noob to PvP, and I don't want the fact that I started the group to mean that I should be leading it (especially when there is a more qualified leader who would like to lead).
- Would people prefer being notified of action in other ways besides calling out on World? Recently my world chat "calls" have been fairly successful, but are there any who would prefer a different method?
- Have my groups been relatively fair? Have I been contributing to a lack of action unknowingly?
And lastly,
- Is there anything in the current state of the Moors that could be done differently (in your opinion) to improve action immediately. Answers like "get more freeps" or "stop heal-stacking" aren't very helpful, really- I'm looking for more concrete answers.
I apologize if this seems to be a needless topic, but since we appear to missing our chance for transfers, I'm doing my best to get things up and running again. Recently Windfola has progressed from a crawl to a brisk walk- let's make it a sprint.
