    ANOTHER removed quest??

According to Lotro-Wiki, the quest Beyond Ram Duath is offered by Arohir in Esteldin from level 39 (source: http://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Ques..._the_Ram_Duath). I am at level 42 (the posted level of the quest), but Arohir isn't offering any quests... Has this quest too been removed, or is there some prerequisite I am overlooking??

It was removed when North Downs was revamped. Unfortunately, the wiki is outdated on some of those now-defunct quests.

Thx for the heads up OP and Arbor, I marked that quest on the wiki as obsolete.

A lot of the North Downs quests have been updated on the wiki, but I'd say its only halfway complete right now. and obviously a lot of old content left over from before the revamp.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of things since all the major zone revamps in recent years that the LOTRO Wiki doesn't address. It's one of the most outdated wikis I've used. The only one worse that comes to mind is Rift's wiki, which is bad also.

LOTRO wiki is a tool made by players, using their personal time for to update a thing that lot of people use and not help to build. My BIG thanks for the people making LOTRO Wiki.

Actually, I think its lack of upkeep is a sign overall that not many people are even using it.

Instead of complaining about it, you could consider making an account and help us fill in the gaps when you see them :P

What other LotRO Wikis are you using?

Let's just say that there are games that do a better job of providing online support for their players than LOTRO's wiki does for this game.

LotRO's wiki is built 100% by the players, for the players. Basically you are insulting the players by saying they aren't doing enough work for you, when you aren't willing to help at all.

Thankfully, for me, I don't need to use the LOTRO wiki much. I was commenting how unfortunate it is for whatever new players there are rather than myself.

Point is, most games' wikis are player-built and maintained, so that doesn't really tell us much. Likely, the lack of support is due to small player populations or some such.

It takes just a minute to make an account. The really tricky part, though, is to remember when you see something outdated that you can fix it. The thing is, when you're on a page and it's not accurate, you probably don't know the accurate info, and that's why you're there. Just got to make a mental note to fix it when you do find out. I've been doing a bit here and there, but not as much as I'd like.

OK, one more: The quest to get the sword hilts from the Bosses in Fornost is listed as level 42 (IIRC) on the Wiki - in-game it is level 28

I use the lotro wiki. In fact, I've updated some things specifically because players were getting stuck in some places and since they would use outdated wiki info, they would create threads or submit bugs about it.

While things like this are frustrating, I agree that Lotro-Wiki is by and large very helpful, and I'd likely have given up on the game long ago without it

This is really great to hear! Thank you, Arbor!

I use the Wiki constantly for all sorts of things and I really appreciate all the work everyone has put into it! I don't really know how Wikis work myself so I can't help out properly, but I have made an account there so I can at least help a little by editing smaller things that I come across

That's really all there is to 90% of it, or at least 90% of what needs to be done. The architects did a lot of infrastructure work to create the page organization, tags, templates, etc. But 90% of what the wiki needs updated right now is just adding or correcting text and doing some very basic formatting (like links), which is as easy as writing posts in this forum.

(I've just made a few more myself, but not as many as I'd like. I am not a good enough endgame player to both do content, and capture information about it.)
