Oh 'cause of thier placement I reckoned they had something to do with the Bounder's Bounty. I ain't sure if that really explains all the categories when you click on them though. Have to give them another look-see.

Edit: Y'all are talking about the lanterns with the purple names around the hill in MD? When you click on them they clearly say Bounder's Bounty at the top and have rankings for each server. Why would folks think it means anything but just that?

If I wanted to patronize, I wouldn't post at all because it's not good form and I wanted to put people at ease with humor and actual information.

As someone who has been playing MMOs for quite a long time, I'm pretty familiar with people jumping the gun based on innocuous things and if I'm able, I like to nip things in the bud and put everyone at ease. In this case, an artist didn't set things up the same for all the lanterns, which is why some were lit and some were not.

We care about the game. If there's a big change like what's happening with the servers, we'll tell you up front and not place something in game with no info

Not wanting to labour the point, but as you'll know from playing other MMOs, the reason why people jump the gun so to speak is that MMO publishers and dev staff have a knack for sometimes putting out significant information in such a manner. For LOTRO, read your previous CM

Yeah the dirty secret is the servers with the lowest number of people showing up with their horseshoe equiped will be closed down. They want to find out the most dedicated players that played through all books. If you have the painting from the first book with you and the statue you got after the fall if Isengard you get some extra points! Save your server, do the book quests
