    ok legit dis time

This is the story of the best warg on the server.

I first play LOTRO in late SOM. I remember making a warden named Rayoden and joining the kinship Massive Dynamics. This was back when massive dynamics spammed the chat for people to join them lol. I remember talking to people in the kinship about pvp. I was interested in how it works. So I end up buying vip to make a creep. I wanted to pick a stealth class so I went with warg. I named the warg Rayodog to resemble the name of my warden. I remember my first time in ettenmoors, I went out of grams and got killed in 2 seconds by some random burglar. This burglar was Caspur, I think he was rank 10 or 11 at the time, but he is the first people to have ever killed me on this game. I remember people talking about Ainur raids in OOC chat and how notorious they were. The freeps I can remember that were in Ainur at the time were. The people I remember most from this time was Atador, Karoc, Jacbo, Zidia, Viduo, and maybe a few others, it's been a while. I also remember a lot of the creeps during this time. Most rememberable for me were Luggy, Bbatburz, Roudy, Shapcidrat, and Rayzr. During this time I was god awful at playing warg.

Then ROI came out. This was when F2P players could play creep reavers. I remember the massive armies of freavers farming slugs. During this time period, I was very anxious to rank up to 6 to join B A M F. B A M F was the hottest tribe back in the day. Even when I got rank 6 they wouldn't let me in lol. But I remember the day shadow came out for wargs. When this happened all wargs became op and everbody bought warg. This was the first time I could ever solo freeps. I actually could only solo hunters ocasionally, like the time I 1v1ed Zulubeast and won. But the thing I remember most from this ere was the tribe called Prowlers. It was a warg only tribe and I remember when Thunderboltz invite me in, and went he kicked me out..... But the people I remember most from that tribe were Zanoz, Nelami, Iorynn, and ofc thunderboltz. I also remember when they finally let me into Chaos for like a week, it was fun for a while.

Then ROR came out. This was when new players enter in and thought they were tough ####. (BLITZ) I was mostly a solo warg during this time. Nobody liked me so I never really joined tribes. I do think I ended up joining Chosen Tyrants for a while before they merged with chaos? i think. I did had a few friends during this time. Like Fy which idk where he went. But this was when I finally got a Razer Keyboard and a razer mouse. I learned a lot of tricks with wargs especially the animation cutter exploits. From what I know, I was the first person to legit macro on warg. yes i admit i macroed HAH. I never made it too obvious, I only macroed eye rake and howl. This period is what I think my favorite time for this server. I also think this was when Iorynn and Ironic butt buddied to like rank 12.

THEN HELMS DEEP CAME OUT. I wasn't there when HD came out, I took like a 6 month break before getting on there. This was after all the big macro scandals came out. and zubzub rq game cuzmad. But the first people I met during this time that became good friends with me, were Ninjashadow, dagurn, and all his friends pretty much. Which is people like dwadler and socrat who have changed so much from then. How could a friendly british guy turn into a wannabe asylum british guy. I still like socrat tho. This was also when No QQ and aslyum first started. I remember Jak being a cool guy from reforged, an ooh how he changed. oh well, jak is still a handsom man. I remember me and muzin being friends... before he got caught farming and transferred due to shame. But I do remember being in his tribe R O G U E. It was a very fun tribe, i mean gartharg was in it cmon. I then remember moving to the tribe led by razzgash, before he quit and gave leadership to crazzyass mordem. But the thing I remember most of all when I noticed another warg named Sanduskyy. I asked a friend who he was, and was like "ooh he best warg server and macro and is op omg". And I was like "yo, so you think dis warg can take my spot". I analyzed sanduskyy and concluded that he didnt macro and was a keyturning noob. But a lot of people who hated blitzx, say I'm the best warg because I dont macro/exploit. Which is ironic because I did use macros and he didn't lol.

Ok the ultimate troll. When I turned rank 10 I decided to pull a belv and rename my warg. My whole idea was to see how far I can go in fooling people. I changed my warg's name to Warglar and said I was from landroval. This was very funny because everyone thought I was some beast warg from landy. The funny thing was when blitzx invited me to his warg tribe because he thought I was the real ####. But people ended up fighting my true identity and it all died out. I stayed as warglar for a few weeks longer than I made the decision to transfer to brandywine. This was when I met chachii and macro noobs and stay at GG doing 1v1s all day.

Then level 100 the fall of dd. I took a long break again and found out how dead the server was, but it still had some action. I remember how it was really fun during u12 but when u13 came out, creeps got stupid op and freeps simply just stopped going to the moors. it was a very depressing time. dd was really dead and there were occasions when asylum would come out but it wasn't very often. My warg was still on brandywine not doing much but 1v1ing some freeps. So I decided to go to the server where a lot of people from dwarrowdelf went which was Landroval. I came there expecting to troll blitzx again by changing my wargs name to Beaney. but... ochad ruined it for me. So I just played there for a while and actually had a lot of fun. I'm still there right now.

    TLDR: best warg server

Well here goes my LOTRO story

I downloaded LOTRO in August of 2011, and thus Jonp was created. A Race of Man hunter that I thought of after thinking of a mix between Aragorn and Faramir. I actually didn't really play at all for the first month or so after I created Jonp since I had a girlfriend at the time and spent a lot of my time with her.

Around level 15 I was in the Old Forest in Bree when I got my first kin invite. I saw a level 41 Champ named Breggel going around kiling stuff and he invited me to a fellow and a few minutes later to the kin. I was automatically appointed officer since I was one of the first people in his kin, Heros of the Fourth Age. At level 35, I was appointed to successor since I had recruited a lot of people and well liked amongest the most of the kin. Unfortunately by the time I was level 39 or so the kin started to become inactive. I actually remember sitting in the skirm camp in Rivendell for several days trying to win a skirmish (don't remember which one) and I just couldn't due to my ###### gear and I didn't know anyone yet who could craft me stuff.

Around level 41 I was still in HotFA and I started questing in Angmar. While there I saw a level 45 Warden named Fallenwarrior. He invited me to a fellow and we became friends within a few minutes. He ended up asking me about my kin and I told him that it was kinda inactive ( although there were people online at that time), and so he offered to merge kins with his own, The Walking Dead. I thought about it and decided merging would be the best decision, unifying under The Walking Dead. I asked my online kinmates about it and sent a mail to the leader telling him about the situation. I joined TWD and was appointed officer to invite all my friends from HotFA, and several of them joined.

I ended up keeping officer due to most of the kin liking me. It was around mid November by now and RoI was already out. A few weeks after I joined TWD, my girlfriend and I broke up and I kind of got addicted to the game to give me something to focus on, since I was 17 at the time and didn't have a job or anything better to do :P Around the same time I became good friends with a hunter in the kin named Hallaborn (he was 10 levels above me). Around late December 2011 I was level 70 or so.

A little bit prior to this was the first time I ever went out to the moors. I was level 59 and didn't really have an idea of what the moors was. I asked for help over Regional or some channel and got an IM from a Burg named Johnney (whom I later found out was Toa) telling me about how the red flags at TA meant that it was controlled by the monster players. Needless to say a few seconds later I got mauled by some wargs like Cataphract, Lavsnack and Iorynn. A few deaths later I noticed a lot of people from a kin called Ainur, riding in a group. After a few more deaths I sent a tell to one of them asking if I could join their raid. At this time I was only wanting to get Rank 1 since again I was level 59. So they ended up inviting me, and I was their warg bait :P I got Rank 1 about 10 or so minutes later and said goodbye and told them I'd be back out once I hit level cap.

So level 70, I was still in TWD and it was still very active. Hallaborn and I at that time decided to leave the kin. He joined Hope is Kindled while I joined Saurons Minions. I ended up hitting level 75 in that kin but shortly after joined TWD again. After that I joined HiK with Hallaborn and left and joined several other kins until coming back to TWD again. Unfortunately a few months after this he ended up quitting and I never knew what happened to him :/

A little time passed and I was working on levevling a new toon, a captain named Malebor. Around this same time I ended up meeting a level 34 hunter in the kin named Evasaele. I quickly became friends with her and ended up adopting her as my daughter which still stands today. Another few weeks passed and this would be the last time I left TWD on hunter. By this time I had already been out in the moors several times so I guess some people were starting to know me (whether for good or bad haha). Even though I was a complete noob, even worse I was still a keyboard turner. Anywho I had sent in online applications to several of the raiding kins and was waiting for a reply. I got declied by a few (no surprise), but one day I noticed I had gotten accepted in this kin called Awakened. The next day I asked over GLFF ( RIP that channel, funniest convos ever) if anyone from that kin was online. I immediately got an invite and was greeted by all the kin. I stayed in the kin for about a month before I realized I had gotten an email notifying me that I had gotten accepted in a kin called BALROG RIDERS. So I reluctantly said goodbye to Awakened and joined BALROG RIDERS in hopes that I could progress myself more as a hunter and a raider.

Being in BALROG RIDERS was some of the best times I've had in LOTRO, and tremendously helped me progress as a hunter. Also being in this kin made me fall in love with this moors. It would end up being my favorite part of the game for the next few years. In that kin I met some amazing people like Zepphyr, whom I would eventually become great friends with, as well as Zeva, Aellor, Hamond, and Klagg. I also met people like Anarthos, Letiredor (for a short time), Justighteous, Brycht and his wife (can't remember her name), and many others. Also one person I ended up meeting in BR when he joined was Welthrop, a Rank 6 Hunter at the time. And we all know the rest as far as that goes haha.

Also while in TWD I met a champion named Arlindul whom would also became a great friend of mine. He also came to BR with me and ended up leaving BR with me (if you see this Alrindul hit me up man I miss you). After I left BR I joined Explorers of Middle earth for a little bit, before leaving due to it being inactive.

I was kinless for a few months before one time in the moors I noticed Kraumur in a kin called Ceaseless, as opposed to The Crimson Brotherhood that he had always been a part of. I asked him about it and was admitted into the kin a few minutes later. In
Ceaseless I met Bromton, Malinuil, Slydewoosh (where'd you go man?), Presdas, Ohpra, Atador and his brother (I'm sorry bro I don't remember your name), and several others. Ceaseless were probably my best times in LOTRO, besides the Gammasammich pug. In that pug I met Gamarin (of course), Lythiea, Kraumur, Agtug, Eomen, Aktis, Frogzie, Katon, Zulubeast, Patriotpea, Xardas, Dennis, and so many others. I would end up becoming good friends with most of them. I also remember the one time in the middle of Draig t2 when we stopped the entire raid because Kraum thought he was getting robbed haha (glad you didn't).

Even the best times come to and end though. Ceasless disbanded in early-mid 2013 and I went kinless for a little bit. In July of 2013 I ended up joining the Navy and went MIA for a long time due to that and didn't start playing until about February of 2014. And even then I only played my Reaver Garaluk, whom was at the time Rank 7. At that time my hunter joined Asylum with some old friends and some new ones like Aglaeka, Jak, Belvelgar, and several others. I ended up leaving though since I was mostly inactive on my hunter.

For a little while I made a trio kin with Welthrop and Patriotpea called Three Hunters, and although it didn't last long, even those times were great.

The last part of my story is Defiance. I joined Defiance in Nov 2014 after being persuaded by Pat and Diggory, and I'm very glad I did. Defiance has added to the list my favorite times in this game, meeting people like Socrathiel, Damondeth, Glaer, Nae, Saeko, Lentosh, Hathcael, Elishah and several others. While reuniting with old friends like Patriotpea, Authiel, Riialyze, Eoldir, Arknow, and later Welthrop.

Creepside was also a big part of my LOTRO adventures. First creating my warg Groudy back in 75, even though I was awful on him especially being a keyboard turner haha. However I would learn to love my BA Jonnyp, my Defiler Drousy, and my Reaver Garaluk. I would be a part of tribes like Prowlers with Thunderboltz, Iorynn, Smellycat (I think), Nelami, Zanoz, and several others. As well as CHAOS with Roudy, Shapcidrat, Kamikaze, Welthpop (later known as Trilogi), Veenom, Saenanthra (later known as Doomvirus), Burgzerg, and many others. Then Animals of the Hithlad Wood, with Gallanharrow, Starscreem/Notbromton, Nazmoth, Kraumattack and others as well. Some of the best creeps I ever had the pleasure of playing with were Crygin, Bbatburz, Orcbooty, Iliketurtles, Kamikaze, Nerdpowerheadshoot, Donnyv (despite all the mad #### we talk to each other you're a pleasure to fight with/against), and so many others.

The vent times in BR and Ceaseless and TS with Aslyum often had me in tears laughing. Whenever we were in the moors and Iorynn was out Kraum's rage was real...funny xD And listening to Jak was the funniest s**t ever, no matter what we were talking about. RC with Defiance is great banter, especially when one of us is drunk.

To end this novel I'll give all my shout outs that I missed above:
Viduo, Lunchboxe, Dairren, Hiriath, Xuneng, Doomsie, Galvarth, Meldereth, Eomen, Zeva, Berodain, and Keorl

    And my individual shout outs:
Tanar: only rk beside xellor that I saw run into a craid just to get a single kill
Atador: along with Pat and Zulu probably my biggest inspiration on hunter, you're a freakin beast man
Zulubeast: I could never get over the fact you went from r9 to r10 in about three or so days, amazing hunter
Evo: I don't remember whether I first met you on hunter or warg but both were amazing times. I remember us both trying to get to Rank 11 together, I finally caught up haha
Katon: the dwarf hunter who used strength stance before it was cool
Threndinir: best darn guard i've ever seen out in the moors, and a pleasure to group with. Also darn good on burg.
Authiel: I still remember trying to convince you and Edwar to merge with TWD and every time you guys would refuse. Do you remember that my mini used to be an officer in AotF? xD All funniness aside one of the best hunters around nowadays and a great friend.
Socrathiel: From the moment I joined Defiance you've been nothing but nice to me and I love how our friendship has grown. Not gonna lie though thought you were a girl before I heard you in RC xD
Damondeth: U wot m8? Haha always great banter with you in RC, I'm also happy with how our friendship has grown. And I'm finally Rank 11 so you can't give me #### anymore :P
Glaer: You're a great leader, whether it's PvE or PvP and your warden is awesome bro, hope to see you online more when I get back
Nae: You're an amazing burg, and RC is always a blast when you're on. Idk where you went but I hope everything is okay with RL bro
Riialyze: Great pesron and amazing healer even though you love DPSing :P
Zub: The only decent skill clicker I knew in the moors, and heck of an LM, even for an Aussie :P
Drakkarmyst: Even though you P2Wed about $20 worth of perks a day haha, you were still a great champ and a great group leader
Jak: Being in TS with you always has me laughing my butt off. Hearing you mash your keyboard and rage about the funniest things. You are one hell of a warden my friend
Aglaeka: Besides Ohpra you're probably one of the best tacticians in the game. Doing PvE and PvP is always a blast with you. And listening to you, Belv, and Jak over TS are always the best times.
Klagg: You are one weird motherf***er but you are funny as heck and still a great person
Vahnya: You're one heck of a hunter and also a great person to chat with in vent, especially when you're with the aussies :P
Patriotpea: You were one of my idols when I was a noob hunter in TWD, and I'm so glad at how good friends we've become. All the posts you make on the kin FB group when you're bored xD
Welthrop: Who woulda known you were gonna grow into the bada** you are? I remember being Rank 8 when you were Rank 5, and then you surpassed me at Rank 9. One heck of a hunter and a guy, and one of my best friends in the game
Bromton: Justin man. Even when your voice was as high as Justin Bieber you were still a great cappy, and a good friend. I think you surprised everyone when your voice dropped haha
Aellor: You were my kin leader in BR, and later my kinmate is Ceaseless. You're an amazing healer, and I have nothing but respect for you. I'm glad we're friends on FB
Zepphyr: I met you in BR and it just kept getting better from there. Even after BR I grouped with you many times for PvE and moors and you'll always be one of my closest friends in game, no matter if you're on BW or not :P
Aktis: I was very shocked and impressed to find out how many different classes you could play well. With that being said, your champ was by far your best and you're a beast at it.
Kraumur: I met you in the Gammasammich pug and later you were my kin leader in Ceaseless and now you're my kinmate. You're an amazing raid leader, 2nd best rk healer and tank I've ever known (behind Lyth and Agtug respectively), and just an all around great guy. And no matter how many times you say you're quitting you always come back <3
Malinuil: Man our conversations in vent and TS were always great man. Being in TS with you, Ata, his brother, Welth, Pat, and Justin was always a good time and many laughs. Also one of the best darn hunters and burgs in the game. Hmu on facebook if you read this bro.
Thunderboltz: As I've said many times on the forums, you're forever the best all time warg on DD, even if you're not active. You're also an amazing person, hmu if you want my FB info.
Kamikaze/Karoc: Whether you were on your Champ or Reaver, you were still exemplary on either toon, also a great guy to group with and a great pesron.
Saenanthra: You were pretty much the only creep I knew when I came back at 95, and you've turned into one hell of a spider. I hope I see you on the next server.
Veenom: You're amongst the top spiders to ever play on DD. Where'd you go bro? I miss you man

There's so many people I know I forgot at least a few. And I know my timeline is all jumbled around, but meh :P If I remember anything else or other names I'll edit em in. These past 4 years on Dwarrowdelf have been the best and I'll always remember the people I met and places I went along the way. I hope to see a lot of you on whichever server I end up going to. It's been one heck of a ride my friends.

    Aww, you remembered me! /rawr

Admit the truth, though: you hate Floyd for making you heal him when he solo tanked BFE with a butter knife.

Well, it's sad to hear about what happened to DD.
From Shadows of Angmar to February of this year, i was around.
I'll not play as much as i want, but i'll always return, besides my several names and such.

Indeed it was quite experience, and a joyable run full of friends.
By the time a next expansion shows up i'll look for Zub and asks directions to play this again.
Until then, i'll keep ./flip in the shortcut.

My story is as long as the old carn dum runs.
Long story short, y'all tripping balls.

    Regards,
    Tacco Chacco.

I would want to write a wall of text too but just too lazy. I would want to post photos, but thats in my old HDD somewhere..

Anyways, i play quite a few online games, but my time with lotro, specifically when i was with Ainur, that was the best, if i could turn back the clock i would.
There are many people i came across in this game that made it fun but special shoutout to Jacbo, thanks for being such a great leader & thanks for placing your faith in an unproven Lore-master (was it you or ilthel? lololol) and recruited me in.

I may not be around often but when you need an LM, as Gandalf said "Look to my coming, at first light, on the fifth day. At dawn, look to the East."

    RIP Dwarrowdelf

    Banoon

(Still playing, sometimes, but not sure which server to go to)
    Banoon LM
Here WL (my r5 ranking blow is a DG quest muahahaha)

Once upon a time, at the beginning of 2nd year at Uni, my best friend introduced me to LOTRO. I sat down with him and went through the character creation page, and not thinking that I would play this game seriously, I decided to go for the most ridiculous combination I could think of. This would be the very first of many delightful days spent levelling, eating pizza and drinking beer.
I picked a hobbit minstrel. I called him Lentosh, a mixture of an old nickname and my old laptop’s brand. Because I only thought I was playing to troll, I made him especially rotund and made sure all his outfits were ridiculous, effeminate and bordering on the insane. This would be a tradition that would only grow with time, resulting in Lentosh being the sauciest and most sexually ambiguous alt on the server.
To begin with, I was exceptionally terrible. I’d never played any game like this before and had absolutely no idea what I was doing. I thought you had to complete every single quest in every single area, so after the Shire I went to Combe...then Ered Luin *sighh*...I remember asking for help from my friend with the spider cave in Archet because I kept dying; I didn't even get the Level 5 undefeated "the Wary" title..
One day in Chetwood, I came across a champ called Gythil- and being an absolute casual from the get-go, I followed him around and wouldn’t stop jumping like a nub until he jumped too. We came across each other questing several times in Middle Earth where a jumping fest was the only natural reaction to seeing each other. Gythil is now level 97 and has not played in a long time, but he still remembers me and his memory lives on in my heart.
Around this time, I realised my friends (Kaelyx the champion and Macalanwen the hunter) were progressing faster with levelling and I spent a lot of time trying to frantically catch them up, so that we could level together.
This never happened. I chased them to level 90, whereupon they both stopped playing and I found myself near the 95 cap. I then found myself alone in the kin they had invited me to: Heros of Middle Earth.
Tis sad to admit that at this level I still had very little idea what I was doing. Having done no group play, I didn’t know how to heal outside myself…and could only do enough damage to squeeze myself through the questing. I wasn’t aware of where magical trait points came from, hadn’t paid much attention to which virtues were best for my class and hadn’t spent time ranking them up. Gear was pretty atrocious, it was bleak.
Nevertheless this did not stop me from entering the moors when I hit cap. Coming out almost always solo, I was repeatedly and shamefully farmed again and again and again by a warg duo any time I left GV. Eventually the repetitive dying prompted me to want my own warg. I called him Lenburz.

Lenburz was ninja-invited by Grimfoot to Unleashed, where my own personal brand of inappropriacy, innuendo and idiocy won me favour and semi-lesbian-relations with the lovely Sweetpeaches. After much mostly-fail moors adventuring, Peaches learned that I had a mini- and suddenly I had been invited to leave my kin on freepside and join Lost Legion.
Here I had many awkward, very informative chats with Larveril and Socrathiel about gearing and virtues and LIs and was on the warpath to learning how to mini properly.
I was invited to their raidcall and that summer I spent every moment I wasn’t working with Soc, Larv, Hathcael, Authiel, Arknow, Cande and Sweetpeaches/Koora. Around this time, occasionally a profanity-full person called Vrax came into raidcall. Eventually I learned that this was the same person as Sanduskyy- the very warg that had been tormenting my poor squishy Lentosh with his puppy friend Hypnotiq. Enraged that I had allowed myself to become friends with this person without being aware that they were responsible for so many of my pathetic deaths- I sent a joke-angry message proclaiming my disbelief and rage. Vrax became a good friend fairly quickly, until he was expelled from raidcall for excessive swearing :P

Time went on, and eventually my two good creepside friends, Sweetpeaches and Gharnash, started playing on Landroval. Since I was barely playing my warg on Dwarrowdelf at that point, I transferred him there to play with them and changed my puppy name to Lenz. Within my first 5 minutes on the server, I ran into Sanduskyy again.
We did a lot of warg duoing and it was super fun, and despite the fact that I eventually grew bored of Landy moors zerg behaviour and transferred back to Dwarrow, I still have him to thank for any puppy prowess on my part. The final and current warg name –Lennyy- came about part due to a transfer naming glitch and part with the double –yy as a tribute to Bae. I’m looking forward to server transfers in order to get that puppy duo back.
History became legend, legend became myth, Lost Legion became Defiance and added new friends- Glaer, Patriotpea, Jonp, Rii, Saeko, Randoff..
Two years on, I’ve enjoyed all of my time on Lotro. I have various people to thank specially- I hope we’ll all end up on the same server, but even so:

Kaelyx and Macalanwen- I miss you both on Dwarrowdelf. Without you two I would never have started playing.
Robtosh/Frasermelm- if only you could have kept on playing. Perhaps in a year or two.
Lentosh’s Brockenborings bf <3 whai u no talk back
Authiel- for all your outfits, helping Lentosh to be the snazziest little camp hobbit that ever was.
    Arknow- THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!
Socrathiel and Larveril- for all your direction to help me not be a terrible nub forever, and for letting me into the kin even though I am a massive casual.
Sweetpeaches- creeping with you was so much fun, and if you hadn’t forced me into Lost Legion I would’ve become bored and stopped playing last year. Miss your sexy rainbow unicorn self.
Glaer- >:/ it’s only been a short time, and at first I thought my jokes were making you awkward- but now I know you can play too xD you know the phrase I’m thinking of.
Bae- you taught me how to warg, and we had lots of fun in Saucytalk. Baes forever. Miss playing. You stay classy San Duskyy.
Hathcael- on my first day in Lost Legion, Soc had said I should look forward to meeting you, after he found out what my degree subject was and knowing yours. But our simpaticability transcended this. You kept me playing when I nearly quit, keep me patient when I can’t wait around. Casuals forever plz

    Thanks Dwarrowdelf!

Well I'm not going to go into a long story here, but I've been on this server since the month it opened almost 5 years ago. Though I'm not actively playing these days, it's sad to see it close after all that time so I thought I would post. I've had a lot of fun and met some cool people, though I tend to stick to myself. I played freep casually up to 65 and then I realized I could play creep without having to grind quests/deeds/gear and have been mostly PvPing since those days. To those of you who kept the Moors fun and fair and to my long time kinnies in Hope is Kindled, thanks for some good times. I may see you at some point on a new server but finding time can be difficult these days. Good luck to everyone in Middle Earth and in life!

And I must follow, if I can,
    Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way,
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Oh man, I wish I knew about this earlier; now I'm late. Those of you who remember Borken will do so without fond memories. I was an officer in Reforged, responsible for tearing the kin in half after Viduo and Jacbo started to discuss a merger in summer of 2011. I spent a solid month in the moors nonstop, burning everything to ground. I quit cold turkey and continued to brag about how good I was for at least another year. Later, as an officer and eventual leader of Ainur, it was my humble pleasure to click the disband button after half the kin had moved to SWTOR and the other half got bored and quit the game. I was rude, I was arrogant, and if you knew me in game, I likely called you some variation of fail, noob, or scrub. I have phenomenal memories of all of this. Why?

Because I was playing with friends. Real friends, that I made in game and have kept long after quitting. I dated Jasalyn (huge mistake), I spent an amazing 4 day weekend in a hotel room with Doomsie (huge success), and I met my eventual wife through a friend of a friend on another server (even huger success). The true value of an MMO is in the people you meet. I hope all of you have managed to find a kin/guild/gaming community to stay with even after the great Turbine in the sky crashes the moon into Dwarrowdelf, because if you're playing the game without friends, you're doing it wrong. You can trust me on that, because no one is better at telling you failures that you're doing it wrong.

    Love,

    Borken

P.S. I still have yet to find another game with a worse, more toxic PvP environment than Dwarrow of 4 years ago. We were so impressively bad.

    hi there ####tards

    ok gonna keep it simple

    1. started around soa, cus that i remembered my champ had a shield but it all started when i joined Massive Dynamics . Story here is long. From unknown chump i became kinship favourite (ella alwways had told me that). With all those good people, like Pat, Beth, Kit, Geraltoc and others... It was fun. I Remember when pat got into sammagammishpug, he made me into it too. After couple tryes with kraum and others i started to like the RoI content, even tryed to lead by myself in MD. From all i remember we managed to clear 3/4 of ToO in a week thats was blast

75 times were best for me. Best and most fun grind in the game. I really started to love my champ. Even could chunk it with chain-pulling. So much fun!
I remember PUGS in ToO with NEWBIKENOBISCHOLAR AKA CAPTOBVIOUS - 10hours drunken pugs in t1 wings. while im from europe, it always cost me a whole night to play. BUt it was still amazing to wipe around 6am and just go to sleep.

    2. 85times
after roi has ended i felt like there is nothin much to do. So i started to creep(well i started it a little before 85 came) - best damn good choice in lotro.
Moors was just different. I could zerg all those ######## i played in pve world - i remember pat 1shooted me with swift bow hahah (but yea it was 75)
firstly i was with AAA - saenanananannathra and narzhagat and cervinsky! yea i remember that. after getting like r7 i went into chaos iwwth all those good people - shap, burgz, peeper veenom and all...was amazing time in moors back in 75-85. so i grinded my way to r13 in ror? or in 95? idr.
all i know is that in moors i could almost zerg everyone. and it was fun. was laughin when ppl insulted me of macroing or cheating - guyz i just was that good so get over it xD

trolling in moors best thing hhahah

3- 95 when i dont really remember us i started to played less and less...same as 100.

    so

i would really thank to all of MD, all of Ceaselles, Barlog Riders (#### welthrop when i got u into BR u got that ####ing Clasp on saruman fuuuuuuuuu). Even DB - i remember back when i had 50lvl i asked karoc if i can join them - they said no . ASYLUM - CRAZY MO####ERS FROM AUSSSSTRALIA - got damn ur all just too freaky freacks.
REFAILGED - thanks for so much infamy! SYCARIUS&OLAFAILZ - WHERE ARE YOU

ok lest start to shout you
i cant remember all of you - but i gonna try it
norfy - wwas so fun when u raged about 85times and gold itemz - hahah it was so funb - but so true. when idiot players could get golden thingz, while the good ones didnt had that much luck!
patriot - i think ur here since i started, sincce i remember md - u were always helpful for me - and i NINJAID UR ####IN GWEULEHOR HUHEUHEUEHUEHUE! i remember that rage!!!!!!!!!
beth/ellatoestabber/geraltor/kit - the family from MD - always fun to play with, to cheer up with, thanks for so much time there

it actually surprised me to see people actually enjoyed having me on the server and made their experience on it as a whole, better. good to see everyone is still kickin around and enjoying the game (somewhat).
i would write a wall of text explaining my story with this game but seeing as how this wasnt my home server, it doesnt feel right. plus it would make me qq irl from all the memories and reminisce in the good old days.
i would like to let you all know that the infamous pro thug bromton is still present on dwarrowdelf and im going to transfer to arken so if u want to send me a tell in game or a mail and just say hi that would be cool.
i will only be on my warden or my reaver seeing as how the man, the myth, the legend, the infamous bromton is no longer of access to me.
i want to thank everyone on the server as a whole but i will put a list of name from my kins celestial dawns and ceaseless that made the most of my experience on the server as well as people outside those kins who made the game fun:

Post this elsewhere. No need to ruin a nice thread about people from Dwarrowdelf sharing their stories over the years before we're forced to move off.

When I first started the game, I didn't think much about my "story" in Middle Earth. To be honest, I didn't think about it at all until the server closures were announced. I spent a while slowing piecing together my story in my head over time. I don't exactly have the greatest memory, as most of you know. But let's see if I've remembered enough to tell a tale of Glorgnorbor the Wandering Captain/Bard...

    --------------------
    Year 1: 2011

It all started in March of 2011. I was looking for some kind of Lord of The Rings games, but lego style. I was freaking addicted to legos when I was 13. As I searched, I didn't find any Lego Lord of the Rings game(Ironic, isn't it? They come out with like 50 once I've mostly abandoned lego video games!), but I did come across a very popular and similar topic. "The Lord of the Rings Online." Now, of course we all know what THAT is. When I saw the game, and saw the loading screen. I immediately knew I'd be hooked. Now, remember: I was 13 years old at the time. Before I even downloaded the game, I begged and pleaded to my mum to let me get a VIP subscription. We made a deal and I got VIP... I was psyched! When the game finished downloading, and I saw the first cutscene(Ya know, the movie ya watch when you first enter the game?) I was giddy as all H-E-double hockey sticks.

When I finally got into the game(I had a DX9-11 Comparability Issue at first), I started a champion. Within 5 minutes of joining I had already asked, "How do I equip armor?" After I got a few troll answers, I deleted that character and considered deleting the game(The last thing I wanted was a game full of trolls!). But, after about two minutes of debating, I figured I'd try again. I rolled a captain: Jamesthegreat. When I entered the game with this guy, I found that a much kinder group of people was on. They helped me learn the basics(I was lazy... I shoulda just read the tooltips) and get me on my way!

I don't remember much else about my first year... Just one big, big, BIG thing. I encountered the music system. I found a person in Bree playing music near the pony. I don't remember the name, but I know that she was a captain. Was it Aerilyn? I think it might have been. She taught me how to use the music system and get .abc files from The Fat Lute. Some of you old bards will remember that site much better than I. That was the start of my big music "hobby" that has highlighted my LoTRO experience ever since. But we'll get more into that later.

    -------------------
    Year 2: 2012

My second year playing was the most important year for me. It marked the beginnings of my awesome friendship with my epic buddy(He'll yell at me for this later!) Bruzo. Now, a lot of people on Dwarrowdelf as a Minstrel and a musician. When I first encountered Bruzo, it was in Bree, in front of the Prancing Pony, playing music. Now at this point, I guess I should mention that I did take a six month break towards the end of year 1 and start of year 2. When I started back up, I decided to make an alternative character that was a hunter. I don't remember his name... But it started with an "A." Now. I got this guy up to level 25, and was wandering about in Bree, when I ran across three short hobbits playing tunes. You can guess who they were, right? Bruzo, Lutera, and Honkybong.

Now, back then, I was a very immature person. I decided I'd poke fun at them and kinda ruin the show. So I did this for a few minutes before I got bored. People were upset with me for trolling, of course, and Bruzo was telling people to add me to their ignore lists. Right after this, I felt really bad(Guilty Lil Jamesthegreat!). So I logged onto my main character(I think he was like lvl 34 at the time, Jamesthegreat) and deeply apologized to Bruzo for trolling him. Did I mention I took a 6 month break? Well, during that break, I had forgotten how to play music. So I inquired and asked how he did it. He taught me how, and that was the start.

Originally we played a few loose shows, once every now and then when we were on, that is. But after I while, I started to wonder if it would be fun to start a band. Now remember, I had never let Dwarrowdelf so I knew NOTHING about the huge music scene on servers like Landroval. I approached Bruzo about this idea, and eventually he agreed. So we started a band that we called "Playing out Loud." Slowly over time we recruiting a third member; Frie. We started out playing on Mondays and Fridays... Usually for small crowds of 3-4 people. However, eventually we caught on to the larger music scene, and we evolved into a more streamlined band.

This was pretty much the highlight of my 2nd year playing LoTRO. I got up to level 75 a few days before Riders of Rohan launched. Oh and I raced to Isengard at level 34 on a dare from my kinnies! And a bit later I did start my own kinship that managed to get over 200 members: The Brotherhood of Middle Earth(I derived the name from The Brotherhood of Assassins... I was and still am a HUGE AC nerd. #Syndicate!)

    ----------
    Year 3: 2013

Year 3 was the first year that the band really became "something" other than a muddy receipt stuck in the ground. We had evolved to include 4 "human" members: Bruzo, Frie, myself, and Gorann/Dogarr. A month into the year, I read about something called "Weatherstock." For those of you who don't know, Weatherstock is a multi-server musical competition on the Landroval server where the top 10 bands compete! We got lucky though. There were 12 applicants... and 10 slots. We were nobodies! There was no way we'd ever get in to that competition! But the organizers were kind to us, and let us in along with the other band: deciding to host 12 shows that year.

As Weatherstock inched closer, we were getting nervous. Our songs were ready. We had: "Sympathy for the Devil - Rolling Stones," "Hit me baby one more time - Brittany Spears," and "Through the Fire and Flames[Polka] - Dragonforce." We got to the top and rocked it, but our results weren't friendly... We came out in 2nd to last place! This inspired us to really up our game and improve to (in my opinion) the musicial powerhouse we are today(Ego much, Glorg?). Oh yeah! I should mention that. This was the year that Turbine decided that "Jamesthegreat" was lore-breaking, and renamed me to Glorgnorbor! It was also the year that I disbanded my Kinship...

I was really upset when I had to disband my kinship, but I knew that I had to do it. There were people upset with the way that the co-leaders were asking for me to shared leadership on a weekly rotation, and I didn't want to. So, I broke down and disbanded it. Think I can't get more detailed? I was on top of the stables in that settlement in The Brownlands in Great River.... I still remember it. So after that happened, I joined Soldiers of The Ring, where I met Eldalleth, Syrolf, and Pendalant(All cool people if you don't already know that!).

This year was also big for the band(Backtracking!) because we grew. Like, really. We became massive. I believe it was this year that Melusinae, Aliawen, and Satior started playing with us. Gorann also transferred away to a German server this year, so we lost him as a permanent bandmate.

    ------------
    Year 4: 2014

Year 4 was a great year for me. I finally settled down in a kinship, the band was going awesome, and I was as happy as could be. This was the year that our line-up and fans helped us win Weatherstock! We played our set as usual(Competing with 10 other bands): "Barliman's Best - Bruzo," "Some Song about Sauron that I don't remember - ?," and "A third song that I don't remember - ?." After we won, we really started to see exactly how big the Music scene was. We started playing at events large and small, eventually meeting our little Dwarfy friend; Skirfir(Great guy BTW!). But we also had a few bumps in the road...

Year 4 was also the year that I spent 4 months out of the band. Let's just say that myself and a bandmate had a bit of a fight(A big 'un!) and it led to my temporary "departure" for the band. This was a really depressing part of my LoTRO story. The band, as you can probably tell by the amount of time I've spent typing about it, was a BIG part of my life. It kinda kept me sane... But, everything came back together and I was welcomed back in as if it had never happened. Actually, I'm not even sure I'm supposed to tell you about this... Well, I'll get a lashing or two later or it! LOL!

This was also the year that I joined Deliquents of Middle Earth. I kinda followed Bruzo into it... Actually, after my Kinship disbanded, I kinda followed Bruzo where ever the heck he went. Lol. Was I a bit of a stalker? Yea. Did I care? No. But I figured that since were we pretty close friends now, it would be better if we were in the same kinship. This was also the year that Satior kinda drifted away. I'm sure you can assume why, considering what I've told you about previous events in the year *cough cough.*

The year ended awesomely, with the majority of what happened good.

    -------------
    Year 5: 2015!

Welcome to 2015! The present day! Kinda... This year has been great so far. The band competed at Weatherstock again, where we came in 4th or 5th... I can't remember(A bit tired!) We played, "Vulgaris Magistralus - Hammerfall(I think?)" and two other songs that I'll edit into this tomorrow... After I sleep. The band is still holding together nicely, with the semi-return of our good friend Satior, and everything has pretty much been good for the band.

I've hit a few bumps in the road with school and such, but overall held my gaming life together.

Perhaps the biggest thing to get me this year was the server transfers. As most of you know, I decided to make an attempt to help hold the Dwarrowdelf server together. I organized a project, called the "Moses Project," to help us decide which server we'll go to as a majority. So far it's been going great and everything has been well. The band has acquired two new members, Carantir and Nessida, who come to our shows, dance, and have fun with us and the audience. While they don't actually play in the band, they are a very fun and lively part of the band that we often run instances with and have fun with in our TS/RC chatrooms.

The band is going to play at Archet Aid on the 17th of October, and probably a few more events before the year's end as well. We're working on a super secret musical event that I don't want to spill the beans on yet, but I will after the finer details are worked out with some other bands *hint hint.* We'll have to see what happens!

    -----------

What does the future entail? I'm not sure. Of course my hope is to transfer to a server where I can continue to play music and interact with the community: Both the Dwarrowdelfian and the (?????????)-ian. Whatever happens though, I'll always consider LoTRO to be one of the greatest adventures of my teenage years, and one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life.

You guys, as a community, have made these last 4 years a wonderful journey of epic proportions. Wherever we end up, we should not despair. Wherever our community goes, we should not fear. We will always be Dwarrowdelfians. We will always be together, in spirit, in mind, and in heart. No matter what happens, I love you all equally. We have shared in victories, and losses. In hope and dread. In moments of fun and despair. We are Dwarrowdelfians, and we will always be one.

Thanks for reading my boring, long, and repetitive story!

I'll see you all in game,
    Glorg!

Airen, wow, as a creep I can say you honestly were my most hated burglar on the server. I hope I can once more get wrecked by you again.
