I keep asking for this every release, and have done for about 2 years - an Auto Combine All button for all relics of a particular tier, assuming you have the gold and/or the shards.
I'd also like to see some class tweaks:
- ALL CLASSES: Allow replacement of passive bonuses on 2-handed weapons in a similar way to legacy replacement scrolls.
- BURGLAR: Class needs a complete revamp, it's by far the weakest class at the moment outside the moors. Mischief line should have increased AOE capability and dramatically increased healing.
- HUNTER: Press Onward to mirror RK Self-Motivation by healing a percentage of morale (say, base 25% increased +5% for each trait point spent), rather than a fixed amount, and being inductionless - but keeping its current cooldown.
- CHAMPION: Speed the clunky champion up please.
- MINSTREL: Improve Raise the Spirit and Inspire Fellows at the cost of a big nerf to Boring^WBolster Courage (perhaps halving or removing AOE heal). Allow all minstrels to rez in-combat like captains, RKs and Beornings can but give bonuses to rezzed morale and power in blue line.
- WARDEN: Replace the trait giving bleed damage bonuses in blue line by a trait giving either increased morale or increased critical defence. Make Never Surrender a blue-line passive (maybe replace in red line by passive damage bonus?). Give blue Wardens Resounding Challenge back as an aggro capture/force-taunt.
- CAPTAIN: Give yellow captains another single-target ranged force taunt.
- GUARDIAN: No real changes needed though red can be very overpowered if played right.
- BEORNING: Beorning tanking needs a lot of work. They're great healers and OK DPS but a tank that can't block or evade well?
- RUNEKEEPER: Increase Bombastic Inspiration's heal.
- LOREMASTER: Sort out yellow line, debug eagle rez, make Gust of Wind meaningful and for Eru's sake allow yellow LMs to have longer anti-stun.
Instance design: Unpottable effects are lazy and boring and mean that instances are won by luck, not skill - if your healer is chain-feared or stunned, say goodbye.
Mobs: Disarm spam is lazy and boring, as is being chain-stunned by uruks - interrupt one skill, get stunned by the next, break that and get stunned again. Idiotic.

say average geared player right now, with ie Greater essences, can do all t2cm - what will happen with another +42legacies here and there? and OP crafting, non guilded, non CD, gear for everyone?
u will nulify already ###### loottables for all 100t1/t2 instances... and drop challenge under the table again
as i see it, making gear cheap except few things, like empo scrolls, is completly meh development - i dont have reason to pay for that or grind like madman... cuz there is no simple sense and/or use for such minmaxing, it will only screw up all current lvl100 contest completly

also, that endgame grind will force many newer players like me to never make more alts... cuz its impossible to catch up - not good idea imho
seriously think about it, such grind will drop players, as there is no need for such boosting, if u understand to the basics and some coop - but many ppl feel unsatisfied, if they cant minmax their chars
i realy think u need better project manager/producer, or whatever, this development started smelling like FB microtransactions noodle soup for whales... but with the ###### engine, cinematix from jurassic era - it will cause mainly disappointment and u had such huge potential (ie skill trees are so wide, same like each skill) - stop simplifying everything, cuz as i am here around half year, i see ppl mainly leaving game - most of ppl i met here, are already gone again![]()

I have tested with a caster and with a tank class.
All the new slotted armours and slotted jewellery + maxed LIs + the maxed new stat scrolls from the shop.
You got an tons of morale, that is right, but you loose to much here and there.
If you cap your mastery, you do not have enough slots free for your def. stats like mitigation etc.
See the second picture you posted. He has dozens of buffs on himself: buff food, scrolls, hope token and and and. But his tactical mitigation is faaaaar away from the cap (Heavy: 23408). With his tact. mitigation he would be a burden for DoS endboss-fight for every group. His finesse is to low for T2 instances for a Champion. His crit. defence is a bit to high. And do not forget: his physical mitigation is coming from heavy armour. The light and medium armour-classes have to put much more effort into the (physical) mitigation. And i'm quite sure, he has bought the new stat-scrolls from the shop, which is 320 for each your base stats. Something what not so much ppl will do immediately just right ater the update is online.

you know instead of just crafting items stacking to 500 why not make everything stack to 500 makes more sense to me
I have read through as best as I can on all the posts but cannot see a definitive confirmation on whether anfalas empowerment scrolls and crystals are used in update 17 to upgrade the LI's to the update 17 levels.
Can someone please confirm yes or no ?

Using this as an EG seeing as you did say stat legs, from patch notes "Imbued stat Legacies have been granted 6 more available tiers and can unlock an additional 3." You will get the 6 extra 'available' tiers no matter what. There is no pre-req to getting them, you do not have to have hit the previous hard cap. So your toon on 33, would have 6 extra 'free' stat legacy tiers to gain XP on without having to do anything; you will still have the 2 tiers to unlock from U16, plus 3 extra to unlock from U17.

Not to mention the 84 additional scrolls of empowerment required for U17 to get non-stat legacies maxed for both a weapon and a class item. Multiplied by every alt you want to optimize as well.

While I am very grateful that Beornings get a ranged item, I strongly believe they should be given Javelins instead of Bows.
Currently wardens are the only javelin wielders and none of them are going to use javelins after level 45-50 so there are many wasted items and recipes out there that could be funneled towards Beornings.
I truly hope that this is early enough in the development process to be addressed since it is definitely an opportunity for those high level javelins that generate or could be crafted to find a use.

woah , is this true? 'cuz i believe it could be just what lotro needs. osgiliath can be difficult , considering there's no milestone there & it would be a sad for people to skip over to minas. well , my cook toons will love the 500 storage & so will my scholars {much appreciated, yall}. i agree about da javelins bein' maybe a better option than bows for beornings with their animalistic persona & because wardens have the mounted javelin rocket skills. although for profits sake , perhaps bow is a good choice when i noticed so many hunters who played everyday the last few months.
I just want to drop in and put in a clarify. There is an Epic Story line for Update 17 but it will not be in Beta as we do not want to release any spoilers. However for those concerned that there might only be Big Battles in this release, the Epic story does include instance and landscape quests.

I understand the spoiler part I really do, but is not the concept of beta to TEST so it can have bug reports submitted and hopefully have issues fixed before it goes live. I understand and love MadeofLions epic sotry and cant wait for the u17 continuation, but I fear if people are not able to test it, it will be ridden with bugs upon release, and I pleade that you at least give it a shirt test round please.
i'm fairly certain the majority of those worried that big battles are the only thing released in u17 don't consider instance and landsape quests "content". Is it content? yes. Is it what the unhappy folks are looking for more of? heck to the no :P. we want fellowship instances and raaaids!
What level of character power is the new region and new group content balanced for? What assumptions did the developers make about legendary weapons and armor?
I have many L100 characters, but due to the extremely time consuming nature of acquiring Anfalas Scrolls of Empowerment, Anfalas Star-lit Crystals, and Anfalas Crystals of Remembrance, not one has a fully ranked weapon. Most have not imbued their weapons at all. Are those characters now essentially unplayable, like taking an L90 character into L100 content?
How are characters just now reaching the level cap supposed to catch up and participate? How much time do developers expect it to take for a fresh L100 character to reach a playable state for the new content without using the store?

I assume you mean the LI legacy secondary legacies. If so, I ask you: would you rather they make very impactful buffs that make you grind more, and potentially make you re-pick a legacy in order to get the SECONDARY legacies you want? If they aren't good, just be done with the legacy; they have to cap certain things at some point in order to not explicitly break things. The only thing I might suggest that they do make relevant-to-the-base-legacy secondary legacies, yes, but not too good.

pourquoi ne pas avoir monté la réputation de guilde d'un nouveau niveau qui va avec la nouvelle réputation de zone (ce qui avait toujours été fait jusque-là)
pourquoi ne pas avoir donné un nouveau tiers de reliques pour les armes légendaires alors qu'on augmente leur niveau ?
Quel est l'interet d'avoir mis des armures craftées à 3 slots d'essence alors que les armures à 4 slots sont tellement facile à obtenir à Dol Amroth ? Pour les sets de bijoux on peut y voir un interet.
La grande Bataille "Défense de Minas Tirith" est un peu trop rapide à mon gout et encore plus facile que la défense de Pelargir plus connue sous le nom de Pelarnoob sur certain(s) serveur(s). C'est vous dire le niveau de difficulté
La taille de la map me semble trop petite par rapport à la taille de Minas Tirith et des Champs du Pelennor.
J'ose esperer que lors de la sortie de la MaJ 17, Minas Tirith sera bien plus peuplée qu'elle ne l'est actuellement sur le Bullroarer

According to one user in this thread, yellow hnt gets a big boost from increased quick shot damage. I'm too much of a beginner to understand how that works but apparently we should rejoice.
This somehow means that yellow trapper has had the boost asked for.
How about the crafted trap boost component promised at release of trait trees? Or just...how about something? Anything?
Looking at the other changes I note that guards got bored soloing.
Reduced soloability for grd that appears to get additional dps for tanking instead, no doubt soloing just takes too long. That can be an irritant![]()
