Why is the Yule festival being extended???

Love the Spring Festival in March (if I recall correctly, it was in March originally, and had the vague St. Patrick's Day feel). Not sure why Yule is getting an encore, but that's cool, I will take advantage of that. Hoping to see a double XP weekend, too.

I'm hoping we get a really cool tenth anniversary event this year. I can't believe it's been ten years!

If you are going to do this encore, can you please not reset our quest progress in the time between January 15 and February 15?

Some/many players may be somewhere in tier 3 or 4 of the 4 'essence' quest-cycle and they will be disappointed when they can't finish tier 4 because of a reset, even though we couldn't expect that there would be an encore.

Would that be possible?

I guess the encore is to give players more time to complete all tiers of A Festive Flurry. I welcome it, the more festival the merrier!

Yep, this. Did not know there would be four tiers to the deed. And some people might have somewhat limited time to play during the holiday season too, so this encore is welcome again. Happened last year too.

ok 2/15/2017-2/23-217??????? or 1/15/2017 - 1/23/2017 Is this correct or a typo to put an encore a month away from the original date. I think a month off and then back is silly. Just extend it to 1/23 as it would save work on your end as well. I think enough wrong is going on in the game to do a silly stunt such as take it down a month only to bring it back. if people started the yule fest then they know what there is to offer and if they decide not to work on it that is their choice but why bring it back a month later why not do another treasure hunt or something else.

... and it always includes that date. The start and end depend on which dates the weekends fall on. The wiki has the dates of all previous ones and the length has varied from as little as a few days up to a month. Last year it was 2 weeks plus the weekends either end.

Yay!!! I am very happy to see the Spring fest in Mar again - when it should be. And I am also very happy for the Yule encore. I didn't have as much time as I wanted to run the Yule activities as I had hoped.
