WoW! Just amazing! The song and the video....simply awesome. Thanks Amorey for sharing that!

After a hard days journey, adventuring into the wilds of Middle-earth, I always come back home to the Shire, kick my feet up and have a listen to wonderful music. Lotro is a magical place indeed.

wow, been checking out this thread and OMG the music is awesome

I have never heard a single sound in LOTRO, except player chat for groups.

TY all for the great sounds and sights. I'm going to start playing the game with sound on, sometimes

That is the tune I use in my house, always been one of my favorite in game. Music is such an important part of this game, many of my best memories are closely connected with music. First time I crossed the Brandywine Bridge , first time I entered Trollshaws, first time in Rivendell, entering the Walls of Moria, and more recently the crafting hall of Aldburg, and of course Heart of a Hero , the tune that is used for the Epic in the last update. One day in the future when someone will look back at video games and their music, LOTRO will definitely be among some of the best scores ever written.

Amorey, couldn't agree with you more here. I still remember strolling into the Trollshaws for the first time crossing The Last Bridge and hearing this gem. I was blown away....still am today!

For me the enduring memory of my first days in the game is the music that plays in the Shire at night.

I remember making my first trip to Bree on foot in the darkness, not knowing how long it would take because that was back when the map only filled in as you progressed through a zone.

I left the safety of Bywater for parts unknown, feeling so small and yet determined to get there, and that music instantly takes me back to those times - running along the road because I didn't realize I could use the stable master to get there, wearing that dorky quest armour because I didn't know how the cosmetic system worked yet.

Remembering it always brings a smile to my face. Here's to the next ten years, everyone!
“All that is gold does not glitter,
    Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost."

This is so good, I had to repost.

Chance, you have to come back and do Mordor.

Epic song indeed!... Had no idea that wallpapper was fan made. I used it as desktop papper several times! Its amazing! /bow

Just went to Parth Galen this weekend to revisit Amon Hen and later on Argonath and "Legacy" started playing, had it as my wake up ringtone also before ;D Its epic and gives a total immersion as others of his songs! Get him back! Let us ride into Mordor under Thomas Chorus! (Minas Tirith , Pelennor and so on also had some epic songs though from other composers).
Happy LOTRO 10th anniversary! May the celebration continues /toast ... See you at Arena muahaa

Yes. The - plan - was to release them this past weekend, but sometimes life laughs at your plans. I'm back (not sick) and back on track to publish the remainder every day this week.

It is simply not possible to name "the one track" since there are is so many good music around the game from Mr Chance.

I can + for this, qouted from another thread:

(Compare, if you will, the music for Rohan, Eriador, Moria, and Lothlorien with the music in Enedwaith, Dunland, and Gondor, and you'll see – or rather hear – why this was a big deal. Chance Thomas is to the game what Howard Shore was to the movies.)
Enedwaith music is not really good, dunland is, well..just ok, but gondor is really, really horrible! Dol Amroth....gosh...i wish they would delete the music and exchange it. Everytime i get to Dol Amroth and around i'm muting the horrible music! Someone knows who composed it ? Bad work dude, really Bad work!

Fairly i have to admit, that the scor in North ithilien is really, really good. Whoever composed this, congratz to it.

So, i really hope Chance Thomas will be returning to Lotro.
