Eranodore's new outfit. It's heavily inspired by one I saw on the blog Cosmetic Lotro. I'm not sure who runs that blog but if you're here, thanks for the inspiration

Hi Eranodore! I run the blog, have been blogging about lotro outfits since 2011, took a long break and have now revived the blog with new creations, including Legendary Server specific outfits. I love your outfit! So nice to see people still using the blog for inspiration!!

With the revival of my blog Cosmetic Lotro, I have been triggered by Outfit madness. I know this is a thing. I have been through it before. After just playing Lotro quietly for the past 4 years and not sharing anything on my blog, my inspiration is reignited and new outfits are coming, including a series of Legendary Server specific outfits, because Legendary Servers are truly outfit challenged!

I know this question was directed at Hymne, but I was passing through before bed and able give you an answer.

That bow would be the Westfold Battle Bow, Carved Battle Bow, or the Dunlending Battle Bow, all of which can be crafted

The “greenleaf” outfit is really nice. I am always looking for something more “elfy” for my hunter, so this is really interesting, thank you. In my opinion there are not enough items in the game that make elves look like elves - well done

I also like the stance in the first image. If the devs could correct the default elf stance to look like this then elves would look so much better!

You mention in your blog that you don’t use the glow effects on your weapons. How do you turn this off?

Anyone know of boots and shoulders that would go well with the Hauberk of the Hammerhand? I don't have the full set, only the hauberk and I'm looking for pieces to go with it.

I know this question was a while ago now but I don’t think anyone answered it; I might have missed the answer somewhere though so sorry if that is the case!.

I use the Hooded cloak of the Eorlingas (295LP from the LOTRO store) with this hauberk on my Rohan-themed warden. I’ll try and post a photo later. It has a large mantle that covers the shoulders so you don’t actually need a shoulder piece with it. There are tons of Dunland boots that will match up nicely with it too.

Edit: image added. Should have shown the back view too, it looks amazing.

Warden's shield of the wold (crafted armourer recipe)
Yew spear/javelin (crafted woodworker recipes)

I think the avatar update was a big improvement for the male elf default stance. I agree it could be even better, but compared to what it was I am not complaining.

Next outfit. I imagined this as being gifted to the captain as a mark of honour for fighting alongside the Rohirrim and the Ents:

Oldheart's ancient robe from a Fangorn quest (there is an identical piece in Rohan with the same helmet symbol as the cloak, but I prefer this one)
Mearas-mane cloak, from another Fangorn quest (Gandalf gave it to me!)
Shoulders: Hyrde-Axle from Dunland
Gloves: Harrow-Glofas from Rohan quest
Boots: Strang-Falas, same

The sword is comically large lol. But that shield is quite nice. I'd never seen it before. A lot of that Rohan-era stuff is just gorgeous but so underused.

Hello! The shield isn’t a regular recipe, or a drop; it’s an Eastemnet metalsmith’s guild recipe from the vendor in Thorin’s Hall. That may be why you’ve not seen it before. Lots of time spent crafting crests edit: just realised how long you’ve been playing this game and how patronising that sounded - apologies

I am literally having a cosmetics explosion having gone through Dunland and now in Rohan level 80. These places are teeming with great cosmetics, but I rarely see anyone wearing them. Most of the best pieces have been bind on acquire quest rewards, so I guess a lot of people these days just rush through or use AoV and don’t do the quests to get them perhaps...
