Here are a couple of outfits I haven't shared yet. The first is for a dwarven miner.

For full details on the dyes and pieces used, follow this link: http://materialmiddleearth.blogspot....son-miner.html

The second, which I forgot to share weeks ago, is an outfit recolor revolving around the Soaring Greatsword of the Depths.

For full details on these dyes and pieces used, follow this link: http://materialmiddleearth.blogspot....ant-grace.html

I know I'm a bit late for the Yule-themed outfit competition, but I have recently been questing through Wildermore and it inspired me to put a winter outfit together as I thought my captain was getting a bit cold! I have used some of the Wildermore reputation cosmetics purchased in Forlaw, along with some stuff from Forochel and from the Yule festival. Everything is dyed white.

    Chest: Wildermore Survivor's Robe
    Hands: Wildermore Medium gloves
    Feet: Wildermore Medium boots
Shoulders: Fur mantle from the Yule festival
Back: Cloak of Ajohira from Forochel
Axe: One of the Wildermore axes (can't remember which)
Shield: Dead man's Bulwark (not from Forochel or Wildermore - can't even remember where this came from but I've had it in my vault for ages and couldn't find anything to use it with until now!)

Oh and the horse is the Prized Tundra Steed from Forochel, of course

It's the Battle-leader's Boots. I've added all the pieces to the previous post now, I completed forgot to do this back then.

This was my outfit entry (although a different pose) in the Yule Outfit contest. I know some folks expressed interest in the outfit details of the non-winners, so I figured I would at least provide mine

Used this combination several times too(steelblue, ashenslades green, rivendell green). The circlet of the nightwatcher(Dyeable version of the turquois summer circlet) is a good match for the dress too.
The simple elegant cloak is suh a wonderful addition to the dress. And I love how those elvish cloaks with hood down create an illusion of longer hair. It seems like the rest of the hair is hidden under the cloak.

The boots have a really nice shape/fit/design that I would really like to use on one of my alts, but I can not stand how they dye (the part that does dye and which parts that doesn't), on either version, and I'm not a fan of these holgram colours either. Looks too much like that rainbow rep mount that shifts colours like a hologram. Definetly not my taste. Such a shame on such a nice fit/design on the boots themselves otherwise.

You could try the boots from the other set, the Golden Defenders. Their default color is steelblue-greyish and the dye-able area is different.

Here's an outfit appropriate to Lore-masters using ravens and eagles as combat pets...and for anyone else using birds as their cosmetic pets!

Thank You for suggestion but that is why I did say "on either version", as I did try both on in the wardrobe when released. Even the steel blue (as you say it is, I can not remember, I only remember it did not match well with the dyes i wanted to use) is nothing that mixes with anything that I wear. Not a fan much of blue and purple. Unfortionetly alot in this game have those colours on the parts/areas that can not be dyed on gear. I prefer when they parts/areas that can not be dyed are more neutral, like grey, black etc that can mix with almost any dye. A specific colour that stands out makes it so it does not match with all dyes or even many dyes, but a few, in some occasions.

Still I appreciate the suggestion, as it might have been that I had not tried both versions. *thumbs up*

Quote from the blog: 'In this case, it included a raven earned from the Anniversary Festivals's Tome of the Raven, which was a royal pain to position properly.'

That reminded me of my attempts to keep an eagle at the side of my own lore master, while he was looking into the landscape. The only screenshot that was remotely acceptable, had the bird more or less sitting on the ground. Every other picture of the eagle was too warped, to be identifiable as a bird. Ah, memories.

Oh indeed, how many screenshots one has to take and discard where the NPC makes some weird animation/move, or if many characters in one shot, one is doing the right animation, while another is totally off etc. I've been taking some screenshots in Skirmishes now with the event and the Skirmish soldiers are a pain in the *piiip*. They stop far away to stand there and heal, or suddenly run up and cover the "camera" angle or face another direction looking all werid etc. A royal pain in the *piiip* for sure.
