Reclaim Moria Bundle - store only?

A new bundle of items is available to players on both Legendary and non-Legendary servers in the LOTRO Store called the Reclaim Moria Bundle. This one-time offer (1/Account) includes:

• Account-wide Goat of the Moria Sentinel steed
• A single account-bound package for one character, with all individual contents account-bound, containing:
  
  • Sentinel-in-training Pet Goat
  • Gandalf /Emote
  • Moria Welcome Mat for your house
  • Hollin Gate wall engraving for your house
  • Hollin Gate permanent fireworks launcher
  • 50x Yellow Dwarf-candle consumable item
  • 50x Red Dwarf-candle consumable item
  • 50x Green Dwarf-candle consumable item
  • 50x Blue Dwarf-candle consumable item
  • 50x Orange Dwarf-candle consumable item
  • 50x White Dwarf-candle consumable item
  • 50x Purple Dwarf-candle consumable item

Will any of these items be acquirable through gameplay, or only in the store?

Are there any promo shots of any of these items we can see before we have to buy them, especially the goats?

Also, it seems like a rather harsh restriction to only allow one character on one server to buy this package. So if we play on multiple servers (I have characters on 3+), we have to choose which one gets these new items?

1 time offer so its only store item, seems that bundles like this is the new black
allowing 1/ account its kinda weird i agree...... cant see the reason why they limiting their income in a bundle but if i recall they did the same with the previous
to see the looks of this new goat you can check the collection tab/mounts, before buying it
what i dont know is that dwarf candle thing......
is it a candle to see in the darks of moria????

At least make the pet and emote account wide. The steed is already account wide and everything is account bound so I don't see why the pet and emote are single character use.

I enjoy collecting the numerous pets/mounts/emotes/titles in the game, not just on my main but on all of my characters. It annoys me that they constantly add collectibles that are single character limited time only.

Anyone know how much the bundle will be? Also, what is the "Dwarf-candle consumable item"?

I also find it weird they're restricting the bundle to 1/account. I wonder what the reasoning is?

The Dwarf-candle creates a spot of light at your feet and lasts for a short period of time. You can use this to do things like decorate events and mark locations.

@SSG_RedPanda: Can you give some idea of a "short period of time"? If then can be used to decorate events then you wouldn't necessarily want them to vanish quickly!

Is there a reason why the emote and pet are single character use while the mount is account wide? Since I can only purchase the package once wouldn't it make sense to make the collectibles account wide? Need to get with the times and make all store bought collectibles account wide!

Having a pet (a collectable) and an emote (a collectable) only for one character, in a pack that can only be purchased once makes no sense. It will ruin the collection panels of alts. Even if you make it so that a player could purchase this pack numerous times to get the pet/emote for more than one alt, that would make the account bound mount make no sense.

The goat, candle and housing items in the pack all seem fine, but please, stop ruining collectables in this way. Put the pet and emote in the store stand alone, or make them both account bound.

It's horrible that a one time purchasable package has a pet and a title for one character only! It ruins the collections of ALL my alts, because there will always be one missing! Please change that!

Not that I do a lot of collecting, but in principle I agree.

EVERY CHARACTER ON EVERY ACCOUNT SHOULD ALWAYS BE ABLE TO GET EVERYTHING. IMHO.

I would buy it, but not with a one time purchase option with a character bound pet. It has to be account wide or should seperatly offered in the store.

Can we please have an official word on this? I can't imagine that it works as intended that pet and emote collections can't be completed anymore. That would be an awful thing which will annoy a lot of players and completionists.

Maybe - but I can't imagine that, because a lot of players who bought the pack would complain about spending money on an item which is available ingame a couple of weeks later. Would be really nice to hear an official statement about that. That influences the decision for me of buying the pack or not.

The wording on the patch notes is pretty specific.

"A single account-bound package for one character, with all individual contents account-bound, containing"

One account-bound box, that can be sent to any character, so you'll get it on whichever server you log into first. Every individual item within that box, is account bound, so you can send each item to any alt, but only one alt will get them.

If I'm reading that incorrectly (along with other people), I welcome the SSG post that will tell me - "you're wrong".

If this stays as is, I'm not interested.

There was a thread a little while back which brought up the possibility of old Moria pre-purchase housing items being available to purchase for the legendary server.

There was an official response stating that a new Moria bundle would be created for "purchase" on Moria launch on the LS. Hence . . .

The bundle is already desirable for account-wide goat mount (hence, 1 x account). Adding emote and pet as stand-alone store items = incremental increase in store sales from SAME customers who want these for more alts. It's an obvious win-win, really.

I'll bet that a lot of people will say no, once they realise what's what with the individual items in the bundle.

Yep. You could also add the goat to the various festival/event pick-a-mount boxes.
