I believe that everyone, except those that were subscribers prior to free to play, will have SoA listed as guest. This guest status does not affect your game play at all. Everyone get's the base game areas (The Shire, Erin Lun, Bree-Land, and North Downs (I believe)) as free areas when you start the game.
I have accounts made before free-to-play (September 2010 or thereabouts) and afterwards. I can check it, though I think even those will also have SoA(guest) in their list. What I think happens is that the server data gets corrupted when sent to the client and that gets displayed improperly, when that happens.
Update: On second thought, that may be true for those that started with a trial, which is what I did. I started in May, 2010. I subscribed in June, 2010.
Update number 2: Navigate to your LotroLauncher.log file. In it, you will see the results of a login attempt. The unlocks for your account will be listed as account tokens. AngmarGuest is present in every one of mine that I've used recently.
