Please put the Figment of Splendour NPCs back

I just updated the game and rushed to the boar fountain in Bree and noticed that they took Albert Fig and the other Figment of Splendour vendor out and replaced them with Rowan Raspberry.
Need I say that I am disappointed because I had not finished getting everything available but I am also intrigued about the Badger House, Big Blue Carpenter Bee and Big Wasp.
The cosmetic outfit doesn't do it for me.

There's no way to barter for Elk of Felegoth's Glory, Goat of Ered Mithrin, Steed of Ered Mithrin, Tomes of the Storm-cloud, Bull Mastiff, Diamondback Snake, etc.

    Bring the barters back please!

I want to barter for that War-steed of the Unearthed Kingdom that I saved up for and much more!

My only incentive for doing festivals is earning Figments for decorations available from Filbert Fig. Removing him was nonsensical. Bring him back.

Pretty sure the whole intention with "seasonal vendors" is that their wares are only available, well, seasonally. I'm sure they'll come back into the mix at some point in the coming months.

Both barter NPCs were removed. Seasonal and non-seasonal.

If that were the case then how come we were able to barter the same seasonal options AFTER they added the others?
They even stated that prior seasonal barters would remain.

I was pretty confused by this too. Why did seasonal barter go away before the end of the festival?

Well, that's the whole point of this thread. Figments take long time to earn and figment-decorations are very costly, and I too would dearly like Filbert Figg NPC to be permanently in game.

Many of us have lives outside the game and plan our Lotro schedules around festivals and events. If the Figments stuff I want isn't available til next year, that's 0 motivation to log back in until then.

Seasonal FESTIVALS are wonderful, but Seasonal Figments Vendors are a poor idea. Make all the Figments rewards available permanently, please. You do want people playing your game regularly, right, SSG?

She's the new NPC, the old one has been removed, along with all his goodies.

At the time I saw the downtime info there weren't any patch notes yet.

I was still earning figments for some of the more recently added Moria housing items (desk, chair and the like), so I would have liked a warning well before removing the barterers, not on such a short notice.

Please bring back Filbert Figg for the remainder of this Summer Festival! Removing him mid-festival literally makes no sense... while we're still earning figments from this same festival, to barter for his rewards.

If only the Figment pouch in our wallet were (effectively) unlimited like marks or shards, so we could earn figments when it was convenient and spend them when it's convenient.

As opposed to now, where if you have a character in each class trying to do the daily wrapper daily because you need star-lits and suddenly realize that on top of that grind you have to figure out some way to get your characters to someplace you can spend the dang things *in the middle of the festival* making multiple trips from one lag fest (The Party Tree) to another (I guess the Boar fountain in Bree, as the vendor I had been visiting in Moria stopped taking figments), and back again, before you accidentally hit the poorly conceived cap..

/signed, taking away the Curator is a mistake, please put it back. Seasonal vendors are ok, because are "seasonal", but Curator sell general items...

I totally agree. Curator shouldn't have been removed. I can't find any place where SSG has ever suggested she'd be temporary like a seasonal vendor. I've been holding off buying items from Curator and have been concentrating on getting items from the seasonal vendor instead. SSG, stop changing the rules.

And Fig shouldn't have been removed with less than 24 hours notice. And with a festival active even. I was still working toward getting some items and had to convert some motes in order to complete my dwarf bedroom suite. Publish a sunset date at least a month out. Very bad form all around SSG.

I was really disappointed to note today that despite working hard to collect figments since the start of the festival to purchase the Elk mount, I in fact needn't have bothered as I no longer have any access to the vendors. For all I know the Elk has been removed completely as an option anyway. As a returning player and low-level to boot, this just seems entirely nonsensical to me and locks me out of yet another part of the game. Honestly, I just don't see any point in it at all. The constant chopping and changing of items for this vendor or that vendor and the ever increasing addages of new currencies makes my head spin. I know money needs to be earnt for the game to run, but all that seems to be achieved most of the time when decisions like these are made, is frustration on the part of the playerbase. Put the vendors back and give me a something more to work towards, please. Or if you must remove them, at least don't do so during an event.

Yes, 100% this. Less than 24 hours notice wasn't very polite. Plus, the Curator NPC, I believe, had all the Mordor figment decorations and cosmetics (minus the Slayer set)...unless you're planning on pulling a vendor that's existed for nearly two years already. If you're not going to bring back Fig, at least bring back the Curator!

Filbert Fig should really, really be brought back for remaining duration of Summer festival, at least. Next week's patch/server refresh, please? There are still more than 2 weeks remaining of Summer fest, let us barter for Filbert Fig's stuff we've been gathering these figments for.

I'm a paying VIP. No compromise here, keep that figment of spendour barter in game year round.

    Ridiculous decision by SS.

I was running the festival daily on 5 characters to get enough figments to buy a visiting banker. I had no idea they were taking the Curator out.

    Crushed.
