Mordor Elf Allegiance -- where the heck is Chapter 2?

Yesterday I just started into the Mordor allegiance system and picked the elf to start. I had no problem with the intro (chapter 1) and finished it. I got the "Journey to the Court of Lothlorien" skill and talked to everyone I can there. But I can not find the quest giver for Chapter 2 (The Time Before Traveling) anywhere. Not in the Court of Lothlorien, not near the Black Gate where the two elves are standing (who were a part of Chapter 1)..... nowhere.

I can not find the quest giver for chapter 2 *anywhere*. Anyone know? Thanks!

It has been a while, but I think you have to advance in reputation with the allegiance before the next quest will open up. To do this you need to do the dailies to get the rep items. Again, it has been quite a while since I did these, so this is all from memory, I'd suggest you hit lotro-wiki to see if they have more info on these.

You get access to them every five (if I remember correctly) levels. So, your next one will be when you have reached level 5 in Elf Allegiance, then at level 10, 15, etc. If you look in the Allegiance panel you can check when you get them as that level with have a little icon for the quest.

OK, thanks. But I am not gaining **any** allegiance and the Wiki is confusing. What do I have to do to gain allegiance points? I see nothing available to me. I have completed Chapter 1 and I see no other way to get points or any other quests available to me.

Some quests and deeds reward Relics of the Last Alliance. You use these to raise your reputation with your chosen Allegiance. See this post for more info - https://www.lotro.com/forums/showthr...22#post7755022

Oh, thanks. I've already done some of those, before I started down the allegiance road. Didn't get any of those relics dropped, I assume because I hadn't started it yet. Oops. Still have a few I can get, though.

To get some headway at the start you need to do some crafting with the shard of that region, can't recall the name atm. Once by this initial hurdle the relic rewards to advance come to you more easily until much later you end up with a flood of them you can't really use for anything.

Very true. My next alts hitting Mordor end up with full allegiance rep as soon as they join faction lol.
Always remember that you are unique, just like everybody else.
