Wow, that's too bad. Because it seems that this Festival more than any other matches the mood of the RL Holiday...and once the RL Holiday is past, well, enthusiasm for the "Spooky" game event seems to fade as well.

You know, I was always confused by the name "Harvestmath" because the Farmers Faire has much more to do with harvest than this festival. In my mind, it is rather Lotro's Helloween Festival so the new date appears very much appropriate to the content of the event.

fully support on that. We plan a server-wide "graunight" at October 17th and it would be really nice to have the harvest Festival on board for that

Thanks Cord, for the info. ...It's not in Chronological order on the list yet, so it looks like there's not really anything between 10/4 & 10/22, is that right? (Other than Durin's week.) ...Just making sure.

Glad that we have a date! I was hoping for sooner, but I'm glad it's starting before Halloween and yay for it not being as late as the few years when it ran into December!

We do in general prefer Harvestmath to start earlier in October, but this year is all about fitting the work into a busy schedule.

Lotro events have nothing with USA Thanksgiving. It's not about sell expansion, it's about festival can conflict with previous verison of game, with hidden changes in game structure what we can't see in patch notes.

Hobnanigans is great fun but it happens several times a year.

That's because the Event Schedule isn't showing anything BEFORE Anniversary.
First Edition of Buried Treasure was in April (16-20) & I remember coz I make poster pics for the events for my kins & social media.

I anticipate the Harvest Festival each year. Having it start just days before All Hallow's Eve is very disappointing. Half the fun is playing the games in the weeks before Halloween. That makes October special. Once Halloween is over, it just feels stale. What a shame.

We have a couple of timing announcements today:

First, The Curator has returned! The Curator will be available in-game through November 8th. Formal event dating: 10/26/20 10:00 AM Eastern to 11/9/20 3:00 AM Eastern.

Second, here are the dates for our Tier 4 limited time Deeds for War of Three Peaks:

Tier 4 of Amdân Dammul, the Bloody Threshold and Shakalush, the Stair Battle will become available on November 5, 2020 at 3:00 AM Eastern.
The Leading the Charge deeds for completing Shakalush, the Stair Battle and Amdân Dammul, the Bloody Threshold at Tier 4 will be available beginning on November 5, 2020.
