I logged on my hunter and the allegiance tab on my reputation page was gone. Was it moved elsewhere? When will we see the 2 "toolkits" advertised in the pre-purchase package?

Edit: Allegiance panel was moved - the Bullroarer notes were edited to reflect how to find it.

    Thanks for the guide!

I was hoping that the weekly wrappers would offer some way for solo players to get traceries, but it looks like they only offer enhancement runes. I wonder if there is a plan for soloers? The wrappers don't even give out ancient scripts.

At least that's the case for this first preview so my intention is to adjust the guide with each build until it reaches live... and rewards may be modified. They have adjusted rep gain & items in the past.
That being said, it is true that I haven't seen neither tracery boxes nor scripts from dailies, as you pointed out.

We're still in the process of itemization, so this is probably not final.

May I ask will you 'fix' the drop of legendary traceries in SS T2 box or is it designed like that so players could farm dozens of legendary traceries?

I hope they'll address that before Gundabad goes live, because the idea of farming 131/132 SS T2 for the Gundabad endgame is rather dull.

I agree with you. If it’s a bug, they should fix it ASAP, people are farming SS crazily now, including me.
If it’s not a bug, then what’s the point that players can only get legendary traceries by doing high tire raids.
TBH, I was expecting SSG would fix the issue on U30.3.1. Quite disappointed they didn’t, maybe they don’t care the game design as they stressed.

This is indeed something we're looking at, should hopefully be improved in 30.3.2.

I will not bore myself p;aying this game so just end game is not a solution. What about traceries for landscape questing? If "you" want me to engage with the system then the incentive must be in questing and not in RNG either.

Yes, as Nubja said, what exactly does "improved" mean here?

The goal is to make level-appropriate group content the best sources for higher rarity, level-appropriate traceries.

We still going to be stuck with the RNG on which gold tracery actually drops? With loot locks in place on 115+ content this could end up being exceptionally unfriendly to players.

As it should be, however this must mean that you will be buffing the 130 content's drop rate for thesee at the same time? Frankly 1 random gold tracery from Rukhor, 1 enhancement from shelob, 1 enhancement from the beasts of slaughter, and 1 random gold tracery from Rannulur is not an enjoyable gearing process. i've not run FoKD above t3 since the update but apparently gold are only dropping from t5, which has been cleared legitimately only 2 times xD and drops only 1 random gold tracery? it's just not enough imo. especially with the barter item unavailable anywhere. At the bare minimum a class needs 23 traceries, with most needing more for other specs and getting these randomly is an awful, unfun grind.

Black Lore/house of lamentation being 2x weekly lockout is meh too.

This might sound weird, and I've heard Sev say this a few types too. But why? We know there's going to be a grind, why make the grind difficult? We want a reasonable meta - most efficient available tactic - with "efficient" being the key term here. If we're playing the content, what difference does it make to you guys what content we're playing as long as we're logging in and doing stuff?

The LI grind was significantly impacted in a positive way by allowing us to farm the first boss of the Throne of Dread Terror raid. It was under level, it was a fight direct to boss, and it could be done in a number of different sized groups. It was run a ton. What was wrong with that?

A meta is a line graph, right? Left side is difficulty, bottom is desire to run it repeatedly. Line runs from bottom left to upper right. The higher the difficulty, the less desire there is to repeatedly run the content.

Lotro systems or mechanics that have failed historically have have been too high to the right.
Phrasing! Doesn't anybody do phrasing anymore?

You seem to be missing their point here. "Level appropriate group content" for "level appropriate" traceries simply means that they want you to buy the latest content to improve our toons. Giving people the option to farm old content can disincentivize players from buying content as its released. Efficiency is second priority

Does this apply throughout historical level caps as well? I am asking as a legendary server player.
Servers: Treebeard | Arkenstone | Landroval
    Classes: Hunter | Champion | Loremaster | Warden | Beorning | Guardian | Captain | Burglar
    Creeps: Warleader | Reaver

Do I detect a note of sarcasm? Not saying it's inaccurate.

But, they will sell quest packs for other reasons as well like levels, story progression, and subsequent gear tracks.

Farming SS is not very useful, I've run well over 100 and still only have 1/3 of the relics I would like to get.

I'd much rather see gold items drop from harder content, but in the form of a selection box or the item needed to barter the gold item.

Also when they drop in group content it should be fellowship tradeable, in SS it is not.

Basically that means - please correct me, if I'm wrong! - that you will remove this drops from levels lower than 130 but not changing anything otherwise.
So we need to and (maybe) will still run for totally random traceries in "level-appropriate group content [...] for higher rarity, level-appropriate traceries". Considering the amount of runs that is and will be necessary due to RNG to get all 23 "higher rarity" traceries for only one character, I think that brings the meaning of "wasting lifetime for grind instead of playing and enjoying the game" to a complete new level.

By the way, what are "level-appropriate traceries"?
A character at level 130 can only use as such a "level-appropriate tracery" a level 121+ tracery. So running an instance at instance level 121 is absolutely level appropriate for that, what we get!

That's how the system is designed. We had to learn to live with it.
Maybe it is time, that SSG learn to live with the system that they designed. Or learn to not publish content, when it is not ready for publication.

Gundabad key notes blogpost has been updated according to the last BR build (as much as I managed to do).
