Rather than leave this pending I will accept this answer although I was hoping for BOTH trees, Laurelin and Telperion, or simply the Two Trees of Valinor. But it does work for either one individually, as well.

Here's a breakdown of the Hailku:
The Two Trees of Valinor, also known as the Trees of the Valar or simply the Two Trees, were Laurelin (the Gold Tree) and Telperion (the Silver Tree),
which brought light into the Land of the Valar in ancient times. ( star-kissed leaves of Spring )
They were destroyed by Melkor and the primal spider Ungoliant, (betrayals and fallen souls)
but their last flower and fruit were made by the Valar into the Sun and the Moon. (brightness never dimmed)

P.S. I think you selected based on the server names I play on rather than a couple of character names I was alluding to- Sunberry and Moonberry specifically.

Was a lovely haiku, Reaboj! I enjoyed just reading it and not even trying to solve. I like that it had just enough to string together the answer, and not be overt.
The "leaves of Spring" made me think of the mellyrn, described by Legolas to cover the ground in Spring and grow new leaves (fitting the "never dimmed" motif). Of course, that lead to their "spiritual ancestor" - Laurelin. A bit of a reach, but it fit the poem nicely.

Answer I was looking for was the Brandywine River (where heady comes from) but yours is fine as well. Was trying to hint at that with the spelling of 'drownded' anyway.

I was going to take a wild and pretty vague swing of, "What are swords?" but as I was about to post you put in that clue about the subjects being male so I decided that couldn't be it. I hope someone figures this one out 'cause it's had me thinking quite a bit but nothing I come up with exactly fits all of the poem's elements.

I was originally going to guess hobbits, but like Tralfazz, trying to come up with two specific males (one of whom is manufactured) that fits all the information in the poem has me pretty stumped.

The particular male in question was not "born" in any understandable sense...he did not grow from an embryo as far as we know. He was not unique, but others of his kind were not mentioned in all three tales.

The other male was born but was not the result of a common union. He also was not unique and is also the only other character noted in all three tales.

I think those are the only 2 characters mentioned in all 3 of Tolkien's Masterworks, The Hobbit, LOTR, and The Silmarillion.
The case can be made that Sauron is mentioned in all three except the text of The Hobbit never mentions him as Sauron, only as the Necromancer and at the time he was not identified as Sauron.
