I'm looking for a server that's the perfect blend between RP and PvE, but mainly solo.

My main priority in this game, is that I want to really take it slow and explore all of the world bit by bit, expansion by expansion and read all the quests and follow the story. I'm not particularly interested in doing endgame PvE really, unless there is a whole new wealth of lore and story to explore within it. I probably would not look to RP too much, personally, but I'd love to be surrounded by RPers which make the world feel like an actualy living, breathing world. I'm mainly looking to solo and explore it all, while still being a somewhat distant part of the world, if that makes sense?

I know this is generally asking for much, I'm based in the UK as well, so maybe a EU server. But is there a server that really delivers this?

Some group dungeons do have important parts of the story within them, usually the final defeat of the Big Bad Guy in whatever area it happens to be set in. They are not required to progress the story, but it may be more satisfying to personally contribute to that bad guy's defeat. Dungeons that are not at endgame are generally hard to find groups for, so if you decide that seems worthwhile, you may want to try a "legendary server" where the level cap slowly increases so there are more people at lower levels to help. Treebeard is currently set at level 60 and probably your best bet there. Though if you find yourself wanting to progress faster than the cap increases, you may end up frustrated, so up to you to decide how fast you plan to advance.

I don't know that you'd be "surrounded by RPers" on any server, but Landroval is probably the closest thing to that. There are some RPers in Bree and a few other hubs, and player music concerts running most evenings outside the Prancing Pony or at festivals. I think Laurelin is the EU-RP server? But I haven't tried it so I can't speak to how much RP happens there. FYI all servers are physically located in the US, so the US/EU distinction is purely for players to decide how to distribute themselves, there should be no difference in game performance.

I believe Laurelin is the server you are looking for. EU Timezone. Heavily RP. But you can still do your own thing and PvE solo anywhere.

The distinction is mostly important for time zone reasons. If your standard play time is somewhere after dinner and before bed time in Europe, a server with the EU tag would be the best fit.

Thank you for the answers. Does the population of Laurelin also have a healthy amount of PvE players, or is it largely RP? I'm trying to hit the comfort in the middle.

Laurelin used to be a lot more hardcore RP, but after the last server merge they got a lot of straight PVE players in so you should fit into the 'comfort zone' just fine.

One thing I'd recommend against is picking a typical mmo name like IpawnU, they do like to see more lore appropriate names.
