    @MadeOfLions

I really enjoy the storylines of BBs adventures. Especially the jokes and wits in them. The Elven Lorekeeper's Dia(mono)log about the books is hilarious. The questline is so entertaining and I enjoy it almost as much as I enjoy the Hobbit (talking about the written word here - I'm old school ).

But since the story's journey took us underneath the Misty mountains towards Lothlorien and now it seems to Mirkwood and maybe further southeast as the House of lore suggests, I'm sorry that we might miss the opportunity to expierience Bilbo discovering the hobbit towns of Enedwaith. In the beginning I was hoping that that route might be the one he takes, even though I suspected that this would not be the case. I still think it would be awesome and hilarious to find Bilbo in that environment at some point.

Thanks MoL for all the great work. Hope we see another Episodic Content, out of your quill, after Bilbo's finishes his journey. Best content ever (next to the epic story line).

You don't seem to be familiar with the storyline.

Frodo got stabbed in his shoulder, and that happened shortly after they reached the Weathertop.

But we aren't following Frodo's path at all. Bingo only has the records of Bilbo Baggins as a guide, and Bilbo didn't get stabbed any time in his story.

Well, he also sort of got stabbed by that spear in Moria, but was saved by Mithril. And then he was "stabbed" by Shelob later on.

That doesn't sound good. Specifically, which house address and which hook?

I had a similar issue with some wall slots at a Thorin's Hall house. I'm not sure what the default keybind is for "Select Next Item," (changed mine to Y ages ago) but go into your options and find it. The item is not gone, just sunken down into the wall/ground. Turn on decoration mode and use Select Next Item until you are targeting the decoration. Now press the U key (or whatever key you have bound to "Use") to open the decoration's menu and return it to your inventory. Now try to find a slot that works. It's an annoying bug, but there isn't much you can do about it.

    Hope this helps.

I haven't had any problems with mine.

Thanks to the folks above who helped me with the permissions settings so that visitors it the area can use it too. It's awesome!

The only issue I have with it is that it is made from snow, and none of the Housing areas have snow as their ground cover (well except for a very small part of the Dwarven Housing). I'd like to see it made of dirt and not snow.

Yeah, of looks really awkward in the Shire homesteads, so I took mine and put it at my alt account's Dwarf house. Great decoration, though.

It's interesting to see that there is now German voice acting in the German client. Good job.

Something curious with this weeks Boffin adventure. In the instance Willem Whisker is showing as an option to kill for the Beast Slayer (advanced) deed in Great River, obviously even if it was an possibility to kill him I still wouldn't, but especially odd for a deed from a different region to be showing.

I'm glad you liked it! Although I think Bert has been doing pretty well as he goes along, all things considered.

Haven't done the new Bingo yet but it looks like I have to do the solo instance "Hilltop Assault". Is that the case?

Hilltop Assault is part of the Mirkwood Landing quest chain. You need to play the Landing for to get access to the rest of Mirkwood.

Guess my hunter has to say good bye to Bingo then. Just lvl 60 and I tried this instance recently several times on my 63 RK without luck. Probably have to continue at 70 or 80.

Yes! Love all the new items as well. Was just curious about one thing. The new Elf end table has a candle on it...and yet the candle doesn't illuminate the room the way the candle does on "Bilbo's Recommended Reading" from Bert in the Misty Mountains. Thought that was a very nice touch on the "Bilbo" piece.

Is a white squirrel the latest Bingo animal? I saw someone with one today. He took off before I could ask.

    Yes, it's from Mirkwood's barterer.

MadeOfLions, really would like to see more Bingo's tokens in rewards OR an alternative way to farm them (let's say some dailies like Reflection Pool quests) OR unbound housing items. Bingo stayed in Lorien for 3 weeks (15 tokens), but only housing items cost more than 50 tokens. Ofc we can do quests with alts but not all players have middle- and high-level alts.

I did the instance yesterday on my 60 RK. On the way up the hill, don't aggro too many enemies at the same time. Let the NPC elves do their share and you just snipe the enemies one at a time. On your RK, pop a couple of heals if those elves start to get yellow, and use lightning/fire runestones to stun/aggro if needed.

In the last fight, I did die twice because I tried some foolhardy things and aggroed the boss. He kills on-level squishies in 2-3 hits. Let Fuirgam tank him, his elf warriors beating him down, while you just apply a bleed / fire DoT on him occasionally, to help the elves. When he summons adds (twice, if I remember correctly), concentrate on those and take them down as fast as possible. You can let the elves take the beating here as well, and pick the orcs one at a time. Or, they could all attack you by default, which will require some faster reacting. Hunter roots, fears, dazes help here alot.

That RK of mine has been doing Bingo quests in sync with the story line, but now he has been lagging behind. Since this is not my main, not even in top 5 when it comes to most played characters, the lvl jumps in Bingo quests have required some serious pacing through the content.

I haven't been to Mirkwood in years, so I forgot all about the hobbit, Hal Tiller, that came along with the Malledhrim. I wonder why they would let this hobbit come along with them but have an issue with Bingo.
