Sat Aug 29th 3pm Forte's Academy of Music: Are you new to the server? Ever wanted to learn the ins and outs of the LOTRO music system? Have a graving to learn how to play music as a band? The Academy of Music will walk you through how to download music, get it ready to play in game, how to create your own music from MIDI files, how to create and start adding to your own music collection with your very own transcribed music. We will also cover and get you set up to run the different Plugins most often used by the music community. Gather at the back stage in the Prancing Pony, 3pm on Saturday. If this becomes popular then we will meet each week brushing up on the lessons, and answering any other questions you have. Become a Graduate today!

Do let me know, please, if you're running it strictly NRP or if it's RPF. Also, keep me posted if you decide to make this a recurring event, with details if it becomes an Every Other Week or X Saturday each month sort of thing.

Oh, and did you really mean "Have a graving to learn..." or is that supposed to be craving? I'm not as hip to musical terms as some folks are, so it might be graving for all I know!

- Saturday, September 26, 2:00 PM The Bounders of the Shire kinship will be having a buttoning ceremony at Addernotch Station (4 Brookbank Street, Addernotch). Survivors of the Bounder Test of Bravery will become full members of the kinship.

Are you new to the server? Ever wanted to learn the ins and outs of the LOTRO music system? Have a graving to learn how to play music as a band? The Academy of Music will walk you through how to download music, get it ready to play in game, how to create your own music from MIDI files, how to create and start adding to your own music collection with your very own transcribed music. We will also cover and get you set up to run the different Plugins most often used by the music community.

This is a semester of 7 Lessons over a course of 3 Classes - Attend all classes and become a credited graduate of the Academy of Music.

This Weeks Class: Lesson 4, 5, & 6

Learn how to download and install plugins, and how to use the Songbook and Poetical plugins for musc

When: Saturday, August 29 @ 3pm /servertime
Where: Prancing Pony at the Back stage

Two new bands added to our Happenings, and did the usual rotation.

I'd like to add a minor event -- filming for the Solve-A-Mystery Roleplay Contest advertisement video.
Tuesday, September 1 at 7:30pm EDT/servertime on Landroval.
Meet at 9 Chestnut Street, Raglan, Bree-land homesteads. We will film in several nearby buildings.

Please come wearing one (hopefully all) of the following outfits:
* Investigator -- think Sherlock Holmes appearance.
* Party Goer -- think Gothic/Halloween style.
* Scary Person -- think goblin or other intimidating masks with an outfit to match.

The ability to hear voice chat is also helpful (no mic required).

Only thing happening is the mass amount of people leaving this troll infested server. Next wave of transfers should get the rest of us off without having to worry about losing our items.

This server is, has been and always will be junk.

Though the Bounders of the Shire still encourage folks to handle their mounts in a safe and responsible manner . . . With Bingo Boffin seemingly taking his disturbances of the peace out of the Shire . . . There's no need to stress the Wednesday patrols.

Though, I did notice no mention of the Midweek Muster tonight.

Moved the Bingo Patrols to a new temporary recurring spot on the past happenings post. It hadn't occurred to me to post the Mid-Week Muster, but I will do that starting next month.

Easily done. I'm trying to get your event listing down to two lines since it looks to be recurring (congrats for that!), I'll see if I can tweak it down a bit still while leaving room for the week's lesson explanation. (I'm trying to do the two lines per event for any that have further info available on this site so the OP isn't as much of a wall of text.)

Hi,

The Department of Harmony and Song's monthly concert (3rd Sunday, 1 PM, every month), will be held on Sept. 20th. Since it is in the middle of the Pirate Days event we will be performing a pirate-themed concert at the Buckland Ferry Dock (Buckland side). Our normal concert venue will be the new Festival Grounds Stage starting in October.
