I'll make sure the Quartermasters see this post. Don't know if they'll honor the request, but I will make sure they see it.

On a personal note, thank you for your service.

I don't remember seeing this item on the store before so perhaps this is just a test run to see how it does and will be made more permanent after their test? In case it is not just a test run, i hope something can be done.

Also, Thank you for your service, hope you a wonderful holiday.

ALL MMO's with higher level new content and end game.

That have had many expansions are doing this now.

Wow gives you instant 85, soon I expect them to sell it, eq2 gives you instant 85 heroic character so can just jump right it.

DDO from turbine gives you iconic characters so can just jump right in you can buy the pack and get them etc,

For those that still wanna to see and do the 1-50 content they can, nothing forces them to do this, for those just coming back that already have done it or on 6th and 7th alt and wanna skip 1-50 so they can work on getting to 95 etc this is win win.

exactly and should be a permanent option for those making alts as it gets so boring doing same content over and over again i would not like to skip to level 85-95 and would not buy it even if they offered as you need time to learn your class 50 is good because game doesnt really start until you hit moria and you have a great number of your skills by then and have your first LI in my opinion and leading up to level 50 is just one big grind like a massive tutorial which i cannot do again, i am more than happy to pay with turbine points or money just to skip it, hoping they can do it for me i have turbine points waiting on my acc for my new burg on imladris.

Perhaps the OP should learn how to budget their money. Back when I served there was an option to be paid bi-monthly. This was a popular option among those youngsters who could not control their spending. One could ask how someone with free room, board, and clothing can be in debt so quickly. It was not uncommon for youngsters to be constantly going to the pawn shop for cash before payday, then get their stuff out of pawn (basically borrowing money at the highest possible legal APR).

If the OP is asking for an extension, then it could be that they have nothing left to pawn, and none of their buddies are willing to loan further funds. This is a game, at least here you will not have your car repossessed or have the army attach your pay to satisfy debts.

Oh, and veteran to current military, thank you for your service, and you are welcome for when I served during your parents youth.
I liked my custom Fierce Armored Warrior Chicken avatar. Oh well.

    Sir or Madam,

Thank you for your service in your time.

Having said that, neither of us know the OP's current circumstances. For all we know the person is sending money to help a sick family member, supporting a family on one income, or as you imply, fiscally irresponsible. It is not ours to judge. One of my friends married a navy man, and she's raising their kid alone when he's deployed, because they are stationed hundreds of miles away from where they both came from, originally. Money is tight in their home under the best of circumstances, because each time they change bases she has to get a new job, generally at a low pay scale. The economy is hard lately, making it even more difficult to make ends meet. Something like this falls to the side because it's nice to have, not necessary. Though I am not in the military, my grandfather and my brother-in-law both were. I have tremendous amounts of respect for veterans, especially those, like my late grandfather, that fought in WWII.

A last thought for you: What if the OP is serving in a location with active fighting going on, not on a base somewhere in the US or an allied country? Think about the tenor of your words - how harsh they come across - if the OP is in danger of dying from an IED or enemy fire. To me, it seems rather crass to chide someone you don't know about habits that you can't say for sure that they have, but can only make an assumption about, when there may be a very real danger of them giving up their life to protect our country.

1st off I am retired military and husband with 3 kids in college, I also am service connected.
Atm due to my service connection I am fighting stage 3 colon cancer at Moffit cancer hospital in tampa FL.

DO you have any idea how much Xeloda chemo pills meds cost per 4 weeks?

Grad school is also expensive we are having to pay for 1 ours to go other is starting med school.

Maybe your the real kid that does not understand real life bills, like mortage , condo for 2 our kids to attend med and grad school to stay in.
Cancer is not cheap even though MOffit is 1 the best in the world.

NekuDoku i wish you and your kids all the best and hope you have a great life, i am guessing the person who wrote that was either having a very bad day and stumbled across your thread and let out some heat or he is no real serviceman and is more than likely a youngster himself trying to get credit and look the part which has not worked on this occasion as someone stated above you may have medical needs, please dont let it get to you, and let it go straight through your ears (or eyes lol) i only came back to see that my post may have bumped the thread as i too would like to purchase gift of valor and saw that comment and it made me freeze in disbelief that someone would sit there and write such a nasty reply which was not needed or had anything to do with purchasing gift of valor anyway i hope the last part of my last post did not offend i was merely turning the tables so he may see what it is like, probably shouldn't have typed something so nasty but i say the first thing that comes into my head, Lets hope and prey they re-release it for Christmas or send us a email saying we accept turbine points as payment and automatically deduct and give us can only hope after all as Gandalf said the was only ever hope.

US real adults that have careers and prior retired careers have investments in stocks, bonds,IRA etc we have never even been to pawn shop , aren't they the places where drug dealers and losers take there stolen stuff?

I am founder as is wife on this and STO and kids not sure why this thread keeps getting trolls.

As mentioned a lot AAA MMO's are now having a free high level to selling 1 or giving away wow, eq2 just to name few, tera is the same they want new and old players via pay wall to be skip old content if the wish that they already have done on 4-5 alts etc.

probably one of the tests to see the overall feedback, either way its win, win for the players and company via extra revune.

    • There is no shame in visiting a pawn shop. I purchased my wife's wedding ring from a local pawn shop
    • Many players are against the idea of instant 50

Not everyone who goes to a pawn shop is a loser or drug dealer.

    .

I resent that. I lost my job in the 90s and had to pawn a lot of things to provide for my wife and child. I'm not a drug dealer or a loser.

I think the real issue at hand is the morality of pawning belongings (stolen or not) to pay for a video game

So the snowboard in my basement I haven't ridden in 6 years? I can't sell that if I am going to spend the money on video games?
