Normally (the last 2 or 3) Encores are 2 or 3 weeks after the main event, this one is one month and a half... Im asking, with respect, why?

I play festivals with 26 characters, all parked, during the event time, near the festival questgivers. When festival end i maintain the characters in the same place (and not the "normal" one for each character) because the encore is near, but now encore is a very long time after the event...

Of course i can to live with it, im only asking if there is a motivation.

Thank you for updating - especially the time conversion tool is greatly appreciated since there tends to be confusion about the correct Austrian time with/without daylight saving time^^ Can you add this to downtime notices, too? That would be awesome!
Player-run events are not really relevant to me, personally, but I'm sure it's nice for people who do those. Probably quite confusing without a calendar.

LOTRO Beacon Issue 82 is showing an incorrect end date:

• Enjoy the Fall Festival now through Novemeber [sic] 7th!

This should read:

• Enjoy the Fall Festival now through November 6th!

And PLEASE can we stop using a term which Tolkien himself would have had a fit over. The use of the word "Fall" is peculiarly American and, as we all know, Tolkien detested what happened to much of the language (and many other things) in the New World. His term would be "Autumn" or one of the many variants used in game such as "Harvestmath" or "Harvest".

I doubt any of the races would have used "Fall" at least not in such an abbreviated form as opposed to some Sindarin expression meaning "The time of falling leaves"

However, if you cite a reference to Tolkien's work in the next few days, I will happily stand corrected and will double my intended donation to support the SSG team

You are right, this should be labeled Harvestmath Festival. Fall Festival is an internal development name for it, and unfortunately got mixed into the live description both externally and in-game.

Thanks Cordovan. You're wonderfully diligent about the Events Schedule which is a great improvement since you came to us for which we're grateful.

We appreciate the work done to ensure few things un-Tolkien sneak into the game... meaning we only lost a few battles (Oh! You wondered what they were? Well, just one example is when Crafting Guilds first came out and our lowbie scholar toons struggled to Rivendell and searched the second floor of the Last Homely House for the Guild Hall only to find it's on the first floor But then Tolkien may have just said "It's upstairs" and left us to find out how many stairs to climb ha ha

(Note for those who don't understand and are interested, in England the first floor is upstairs, but I'm well off topic now so back to the game )

With the change of keys and lootboxes in the wake of U23 - what sense is there to have a lootbox weekend?

In older days I hardly found lootboxes (and keys) dropping faster or more often than outside such a weekend. With keys shop only now and just the new lootboxes dropping I find it just questionable to have such an event.

Treasure hunter event points you to the shop, too. But at least you can get the pick-axes in-game. Having lootboxes thrown at you with no more means to open them in-game (once old keys are used) up isn't fun for me.

Will that vendor for older lootboxes that Cordovan mentioned be introduced then at least?

Cordovan hasn't updated the first post of this thread (as of the date/time of this post) or posted this info here, but for anyone that missed it:

The Harvestmath Festival has been extended by another week! This seasonal event now runs through November 11th.

By "through November 11th" I'm guessing the new end date/time is now:
