Many of the boots on there can be dyed completely black. Find a pair you like and you can use the wiki to see how to obtain, seeing as how the names of each item are below the pictures.

There's also the boots of the learned. They can be dyed black, but there is some white trim.

Periodically check the AH and try out the skirm vendors as well. I think your best bet is the dunland rewards from the link above. They all come out nice. If you have trouble with any of those let me know. Ive quested there a lot for all the cosmetic pieces and could probably guide you to the ones you need.
Thank you for your speedy response, unfortunately as I have said, unless the Quest is repeatable then the chances are I have done it (before cosmetics I was a completionist and horse collector).

I was more hoping someone was wearing a pair that had been crafted or bartered.
I dont hug, I keep my distance, about 40m.

Oh ok sorry about that. There are some pieces on there that are dropped by mobs. So, I would absolutely recommend checking the AH. I always see them posted, and many times the boots.

After reaching kindred status with the Lossoth of Forochel, my dwarf crafted his Mammuti armor set, and bought a cosmetic Cloak of Leijona. The Lossoth Pony from the anniversary envelope hunt makes the setup perfect.

Anyone know where I can find this helm and backpack? I have a sneaking suspicion they're store-only...

They are. Those are the Visage of the Bear, and the Elk-hunter's Pack.

Thanks for the heads up. I might have to drop some TP on them anyway as those are perfect for my new burglar (going for a little feral hobbit type of look).

I have searched everywhere, I know there are a few from quests, but as I have done most quests unless they are repeatable then I cant get them. So any that can be bought, bartered or crafted are my only choices, the closest I have come to is the Grey Company Boots, but I got rid of them.

    All help greatly appreciated.
Try one of the outfitters. I believe the soft leather boots dye all parts (might be some stitching, but it's close). Glossy leather boots dye everything but the "knee patch." There may be a few other pairs that might take the dye the way you want. I think I use the soft leather when I want a "solid color" look.

Also, try the skirmish vendors (cosmetic or armour).

Huzzah, got my little hobbit burglar all outfitted! He's looking pretty fearsome with that Visage of the Bear and the Elk-Hunter's Pack, but I went with a leather look for the rest and tans/greens to make him look like a feral forest dweller. I'll edit this post tonight after I take some screenies.

I can't find this horse anywhere. It's not on lotrosteeds.com, and a search for "lotro steam horse" on google doesn't look like it gets me anywhere. Where and how can I get one?

It was a reward given by Steam for using their client. You can now play Lotro through Steam if you wish. At the time it cost $9.99, I'm not sure if they are still offering it or not.

It's the Noble Grey steed from the Steam Starter pack which is normally $30 and is on sale for half off right now

I think you can just enter the code into your current account without downloading steam, could be wrong about that though.

My current outfit for my minnie. Kinda hard to come up with half-decent outfit by using low-end gear. Looking at RoI/RoR armor and clothing clearly show how the art team has come a long way and how some of the old gear could really use a revamp.

Hi everyone, thought I'd make another contribution to this thread this morning.

This is an outfit I put together to be a signature look for my champ, who's from Lothlorien. I call it "Golden Mallorn-sentry". If you'd like more pics or the list of pieces, please click here.

I just love to see what everyone comes up with, their different styles and what they feel good in. So fun! My problem I am having is getting tired of an outfit piece, but not wanting to remove it from my maxed wardrobe due to all the dyes invested in it. I wish they would allow more space or an unlimited option.

Isilmacil, your use of the Cloak of the Equine looks great, it works so well with the steed. bravo

My hobbit's got a new summer look, inspired by the Farmers Faire:

Only the hat and cornstalk are from the festival itself, though. The tunic can be bought from Michel Delving any time.
