I'm back from my vacation (and a few weeks off gaming after) and I found out there's Farmer's Faire going on! the cosmetics look cute on hobbits, so I decided to bring them on a terrified hobbit lad:

First off I just want to say that I love this thread and have got so many ideas (and have been made extremely jealous) from all you other well-dressed types. Thanks to everyone who has posted over the YEARS this thread has been around!
And now down to business. I wanted something swashbuckling after finding the chest that my dwarf RK had looked different (and pirate-y) on my hobbit hunter...

Hat: one of the many plumed "three musketeers" hats you can find. Mine is a Brimmed Hat of Healing, dyed red (crimson might be better actually....)
Cloak: Recovered Sailor's Cloak (classic Skirmish vendor has it), dyed red
Chest: Cel-Crus, Isengard 3-person instance loot (check your AH), washed/dyed white (please note this item looks different on dwarves and probably elves/men as well)
Hands: Isengard Prisoner Gloves (epic questline in Dunland/Isengard), dyed red
Legs: Ceremonial Leggings of the Brazen Call (Moria champion? set armour - cosmetic versions now on cosmetic Skirmish vendor), dyed red
Boots: Dunbog Watcher's Studded Boots, dyed black
(no shoulders because they just didn't look right)

Noone told me in April 2007 that creating a lore-master whose name means "bookmaster" and whose favourite title is "Master of Forgotten Lore" would cost me 1,995 Turbine points five years later
The gear is familiar to followers of this thread: Tawarwaith robe, Noriel's shoulders etc. Not too sure about the feathered hat for an elf, so that's been turned off so far. All dyed navy or sienna with a bit of white added to the sage's pack.

Hope you like my Cappy's outfit! If you'd like to see more pics of this outfit and others, feel free to visit http://materialmiddleearth.blogspot.com/![]()
today's outfit is supposed to match the Steed of the Lore-master - I didn't manage to get the color match right though. however, I decided to publish it, as I like the outfit alone and hopefully different shade of blue doesn't hurt combination with the mount that much either.

Darzil's guide is good.
The gloves are quite common graphic, methinks: you could try light/medium armoursmiths at the beginner zones, especially Thorin's Hall.
The shirt... less so. Next time I log in, I'll have a look, unless someone else has given you the answer before that.

Ahh thank you very much.
Sometimes you just stumble on outfits.
My up-and-coming burglar has been running around in a variant of the skirmisher outfit I showed earlier. While running through Volume I of the epic, I came across a choice of chestpieces, and one of them jumped right out. It's not the fanciest or even all that cohesive, but somehow it works for her perfectly.
You'd think that bright yellow would be a poor choice for a stealthy burglar, but she seems to be doing pretty well.
Besides, what else is there to do in Eregion than scold half-orcs to keep off the grass?

Speaking of that Skirmisher outfit: the last place I expected to find a mount to match was a farming fair in the Shire.
Of course I also didn't think the burg was a cyborg...
