The fact that the festival tickets - y'know, the ones clearly placed in the game as a way to generate TP purchases? - were not bound to character to begin with was CLEARLY unintentional. I'm pretty sure everyone with half a brain figured this out within the first ten seconds of realizing that they were unbound.

I agree with you, I noticed at the first moment.

But it is also true that the F2P model requires a "work around" making the store optional.

To make more characters we need to buy more char slots, nothing is given for free. So it is quite fair that tickets can be account wide.

Celestrata, I usually appreciate the humorous descriptions in patch notes, but here's one case where I really want greater detail and clarity:

Items sheathed on characters backs should no longer defy the law of gravity.

Does that mean weapons won't bob on a toon's back anymore? Does it also mean a fix for the mis-alignment of weapon glow effects and the weapons themselves? How about weapons that appear to lag behind the swing of a toon's hand during an attack?

What exactly was fixed?

So... NOT BoA, would then mean green in the barter wallet and thus, account-wide, yar?

Example: Each of my say... 10 toons, has 3 festival tokens. Then next time I log in, I will have 30 'shared' festival tokens in my barter wallet, instead of 3 on each toon?

See, this is the thing, there is NO WAY that the tickets being unbound was not a glitch, in other words, something we should never have had in the first place.

If so, that glitch wasnt fixed since the last festival since they werent bound that time either

And no. No separate thread needed. This was expected. When you posted that they were not BoA, I was all of a sudden finding myself amazing that something was done RIGHT! :P Thanks for clarifying that it was just a sudden lapse in judgement.

On topic: I'd been taking an extended break from LOTRO but last night challenged myself by turning off my UI and riding from my kin's house in Thorin's Hall to Enedwaith, just to see the beautiful landscape again. I passed by the "dummies" in Bree and thought, "Oh, is that what all the commotion was about?" They didn't strike me as being particularly intrusive, but I suppose these changes will make them even less so.

So if they are not Bind on Acquire, and not Account Wide, what are they then?

And if they aren't account wide, what do I do about all of mine? I had no idea that they would be locked to one character (if they are), so I put them all on a character that can't use them, to save space :/

• Race Tokens from the 2011 Summer Festival will now turn into Festival Tickets when placed in your inventory. Festival Tickets are also now barter wallet items. If you have any Race Tokens or Festival Tickets in storage, you will need to place them in to your inventory to have them update properly.
• The Inn League and the Ale Association members finally noticed a new festival was taking place and have updated their barter vendors accordingly. You can now trade Inn League and Ale association tokens for Farmers Faire tokens and, on the kindred vendor, you can trade for the Farmers Faire mount token.
• Drunken Hobbits should no longer slink home to sleep it off and should be easier to locate and admonish for not going home to sleep it off.

For those unfamiliar with American jargon: "noogie" = putting someone in a headlock and rubbing your knuckles across their scalp. No idea why this is considered friendly behavior.

We all have a basic barter wallet. The one you buy is sort of a super dooper wallet. I suspect the tokens will go into our basic wallet.
