Today's small changes - 8-20-13

A couple of little tweaks coming tomorrow. Nothing too major on the payer visible side, except one thing. I'll wait and see if you notice later tomorrow afternoon.

I had been trying to have Explorer remember my user name an password at the logon screen so I could just click on the field and Explorer would "remember"... well it didn't work until today = happy dance time!

Oh 12 lotto's 22 days well it must be broken seems to be a broke about 10 days ago or so would you mind posting just what lottos where up the last 10 days of so so I check it against my records.

Here are the lotteries I have won recently, and the dates/times I entered:

I agree! Love having the account names listed for easy entry, but especially love that the reward lists are again sorted by server. Many thanks for the continued efforts of the team!

That was a small fix the team slipped in yesterday. They continue to make little adjustments and improvements based on player feedback and my 'wishlist'.

1 Yes. We have had class specific lotteries. Mostly we we do class mounts.

Were there really 70+ test lotteries? I only got into the last two and every toon won. Talk about some serious gold for my 5 lvl cap toons. 20 gold just from doing those two lotteries (not to mention roughly 500 fireworks of all colors). ^_^

Can I humbly request that something other than fireworks be put in any remaining test lotteries? I am afraid for poor Postman Proudfoot, I saw him walking over the hill near Michal Delving yesterday, smoking a pipe of Sweetleaf and then there was a giant bang and all I saw were purple sparks.

(Seriously, I have something like 1000 purple fireworks now. )

If you read the lottery page you'll see it says No lotteries available when there are no lotteries available. This is LITERAL. If there are no lotteries, there is nothing for you to do. There are not always lotteries. If there is a lottery running, ANY lottery, you will see it. Even if it is a lottery your characters cannot enter you will see that it is running.

To sum up.

• If the page says there are no lotteries it is because there are no lotteries. At all. None.
• If there are any lotteries of any kind running, you will see them. Even if you cannot enter them due to character, world, level, or race restrictions.

No, but aside from flash lotteries most lotteries last 24 hours or longer. Some last several days.

We keep the test lotteries short because the point is to test them while we continue to get the kinks out of the system.

The lottery now makes it very clear which characters you have entered into each lottery.
well it sort of did in the end,,, was about to post this didnt work, the last lottery i tried didnt work , but i guess this fix half sorted it.
after selecting all characters etc, then clicking submit. i was left wondering if it did or not work,, was no change in the page, after 10 more clicks, i wondered more if it worked,, didnt get confirmation until i reloaded the page,
just a suggestion, or most likely an oversight on the new lotterys, after submiting characters into a lottery, maybe add an autorefresh to the page, so at least we can see that it has worked, hope all goes well, and look forward to the return of the lotterys.

thinking back and looking at it,, maybe it was confirmed,, was hard to tell. would be nice if it was more definate,, didnt look like it if it was

I've just noticed that on the lottery page if there's a lottery running that you have entered there is no link to previously won lotteries, it only shows when there are no lotteries running, is there a chance that we could get that added?

Edit: Never mind it is there, it just doesn't seem to show every time you go to the page, had to refresh a couple of times.

Yeah - sometimes the old styles are cached in your browser. Everyone should shift-refresh the lottery page to make sure they are seeing the newest version, I think.
