Currently, my Burglar is at lv40, and I intend to play him with an EXP disabler in the future.\

Finding cosmetic outfit for a hobbit is often tougher than I thought, especially a hobbit-lad. Wearing a tunic make a hobbit looks pretty fat at the stomach, and I don't like to look at their old-looking face. I guess I have been used to Frodo's face in the movie.

He is a burglar, so I want him look burglar-like. By the time I played him, I have already collected a bunch of outfit, and I found that Dunland quest rewards seemed to be designed for burglar. The mask help me hide its annoying face, the Ranger's boots with a knife made him look professional, and the chest piece amazingly hide his fat belly.

I don't use cloak on this, because the cloak clipped into the shoulder piece. These hobbits have board shoulder for some reason

In my eye, this outfit makes him look like a tough opponent to face head-on, and you don't want him to suddenly to "Kick" you from behind with that kind of boots.

You can try some random cosmetic boxes at festivals. If memory serves me right, i got mine from a spring festival box. The Yule Festival has a barterer which offers cosmetic gift boxes for tokens, too; and if you are lucky you might find one inside.

My burg, Tyv. Not the best pic. He's just wearing the fishing outfit dyed black. I though it was cool when I did it when the fishing outfit first came out, but now I see it on a lot of toons. He has a cool gift box backpack dyed black, too.


And the champ. She has a couple outfits, but I don't have a lot of screenies of her. She's my only heavy armour toon and it's fun to finally get to play with heavy armour looks!

Anyone happen to know the pieces for the red set at the bottom? I really like it. Thanks

They can be found as Dunland quest rewards: "Clanweave Shoes" is the shortest name, but they share graphics with "Threadbare Shoes of the Dunland Healer" and "Elegant Silk Shoes". Light armour pieces that visually work quite well, imo...

I've been modifying my scholar/hunter's outfit as I level and get new crafting options. I like it better now. This is still a cheap set (because I'm too cheap to buy expensive cosmetics :P ), all or nearly all craftable by tailors in middle levels (the pieces are L30-50ish); only one I'm not sure about is the leggings, but I think those are the same as something around L50. I had a burgundy-dyed Cloak of the Raven and Mathom-Hunter's Helmet on as well but got tired of them.

So, I'm in Moria. The white shirt felt wrong; I wanted some black. (I know there are some cooler wrap-type shoulders out there, just haven't managed to find/make them yet. But these do for now.)



Edited to add: it's really too bad we don't have cosmetic weapons. Got this dagger as a drop (much too weak to use, of course), and I think a couple of these would look great with this outfit.

Use this outfit on my Captain. Is there no spoiler bbc code? My pictures are pretty large and would benefit from something like it.





In case anyone is wondering, the armour is a full set of Westemnet Skirmish Armour dyed white, minus the helmet. The cloak is a cloak called the Ever-Shadow, dyed Forest green. The Hood/mask is Lesser Secret Helmet of the West dyed Rivendell green.

My champ has picked up a couple of mathom armor pieces that I actually like, so she's wearing a mix of quest & crafted heavy armor and mathom pieces, dyed for contrast since nothing matches the teal. And since I love orange.



Sellsword's shoulders, legs, and boots (shoulders & legs dyed); Mathom gloves and shirt; heavy helm from a Watcher quest reward on my way in to Moria.

By the way, is there a way to change the game's screenshot quality settings? Some of your images are so clean and crisp, while I'm fighting with loads of jpeg artifacting on mine.

Edit: also, I am jealous of your shoulderpads, The_Elven_Bard.

Had a go at some of the new heavy armor pieces:


Helm and Shoulders are heavy armor quest rewards (given in several quests throughout Helms Deep afaik), the rest is lvl 90 crafted heavy armor.

Thanks! I had a lot of fun slowly making that one up. It has taken me a while to get a couple of outfits made up of various items, and that is one that I am most proud of so far.
