Neither of these answer my question, though perhaps I was unclear.

It's only for new transfers, but if you got renamed -1, you should have already gotten a free rename token. If you didn't get a free rename token, create a ticket. If you lost it, destroyed it, or there is another reason you are currently stuck with the -1 name, you may have to buy a rename token. One thing you could try is this, and it is tricky:

1) create a toon called "Name" on any server, wait till you can transfer to the chosen 5.
2) transfer this toon to a server that has "Name" already, and it will become "Name-1"
3) transfer your toon to the same server that now has a "Name-1" and you may become "Name-2" WITH a free rename token.
4) transfer your toon BACK to the server you came from, with the free rename token in tow.
5) change into the name you want.... if you can.

It’s not a transfer token. It’s an alert on the bottom right hand side of my screen that pops up every time I log in that offers a name change. I didn’t destroy it, I simply ignore it. Like many people, I’ve grown attached to my character name. I would rather keep my name and the -1 than change my name entirely.

My question revised: I transferred earlier this year. Someone else had the name Wiga. I became Wiga-1. The original Landroval Wiga hasn’t logged in in over a year. If I transfer Wiga-1 off of Landroval, then back to Landroval can I get Wiga and the person who hasn’t been active in over a year get the -1? (as the name priorities should work).

The new transfer system is not active yet. You probably used a payed transfer which doesn't work the same. You may get rid of the -1 if you transfer to another server that has a character with the same name including the -1 (you can create that character yourself). Your character should then get a -2 and a free rename token. With that you can transfer back and rename but wait until the new transfer service is up! It makes no sense to try transfers now.

I KNOW the new transfer system is not active yet.
Of course I used a paid transfer.
I don’t want a -#. I don’t want a new name.
The person who has my name on Landroval hasn’t been active in over a year.
If I transferred off of Landy, then transferred back, can I get my name without the -1, since the peron with my name isn’t active?
