There are numerous possibilities to include citizens, children, merchants, crafters, party goers. Each should have some sort of animation that can be triggered or interacted with. There can also be festive folks outfitted around each of the festivals and events.

I and many others would gladly buy these from the store individually or in sets.
I like this idea as well-- thinking of the band playing on a stage in Lyndelby as well as the storyteller with listening hobbits in the matriarch main house in Lyndelby just hanging out in the space. Would love this sort of thing for a kinhall.

I brought this up in Scenario's Gundabad stream in chat: I would love to see hobbit or Bree versions of crafting furniture. I like being able to use the store crafting stations but they are Gondorian and look rather silly in my hobbit hole. I'd gladly buy hobbit versions of them, or even Bree-ish since they would probably look similar enough. I bet the elf lovers out there would appreciate elven ones as well. Oh, and I do recognize that there are Rohan ones. I bought a set and it's living at my Rohan house, haven't sprung on a second one in the hopes that they implement this idea (also I don't want the whole kit)
On a side note: I love having the Shire Stable Master horn on site- any chance of the "Visiting Banker", "Visiting Barber" and Gondorian Supplier being able to be multi-racial as well? Could always use more hobbits on site at the house, make it feel more occupied.
Second side note: Anyone know if it's a tech reason for the stable master and supplier to be on a horn to summon? Would like them to just be kicking it when I walk up. Not a deal breaker, but it's a strange situation. Guessing it's technical..

Wish list - the ability to tile the ground like we can with interior floors and the ability to apply skins to the exterior walls like wallpaper on the inside. This combined with the new exterior ambient tech coming would be awesome.

Hello! I would really like if the "giant pumpkin" decoration could be made available also for the interior, not only for the garden, it's so nice! Also, could we have a domestic npc elrond and thranduil? A domestic bilbo npc already exists after all

Hullo there! I would very much like to see exterior yard surface decorations, like snow enabled for the Yule season. Or just cover the whole housing area with snow please until the season ends.
Would be so awesome! I want to keep my hobbit house, but it's always so sad to see my snowy trees standing in the green grass.

    puddle effects, non-Yule fireplace

What about puddle effects? Like the ones from the Haunted Burrow? (no /loc, as we can't get there right now, but you know what I mean) Those would be pretty nifty. I'd love to have a 'Hey, who turned out the lights?' corner in my library, and I know some player-made basements would make great use of the green, musty one from the Burrow's basement that makes you cough.

I have no idea if this would somehow break things, or cause ridiculous lag, or be impracticable for reasons incomprehensible to me, but it sounds neat.

Also, this time of year folks are starting to enjoy their 'Cozy Yule Fireplaces' from their Yule Hobbit Gifts. I do love their look; the shape and stone color are different than the ones from the housing vendors. Would it be too difficult to release a holly-less version to enjoy the rest of the year? I would absolutely replace a number of my existing fireplaces with these.

I guess it's really about the journey after all.

    Hobbit Wares

Gosh, where do I begin. You have so many wonderful assets, but you are absolutely correct - we need more of them to be placeable housing items!

I feel there is not enough Hobbit items, for the age of the game and the available assets, most of these should be quick wins.

    Here's a few top choices..

    Hobbit Outdoor
    Small Market Stall
Small (The table and the banner combined.)
For example, in Michel Delving - 34.1S, 75.0W

    Red Tent + Potato Waggon
    Separate items, both Small.
For example, in Michel Delving - 34.1S, 75.0W

    Purple Tent + Vegetable Waggon
    Separate items, both Small.
For example, in Michel Delving - 34.1S, 75.0W

    Produce Display Tables
    Separate items, both Small.
For example, in Michel Delving - 34.1S, 75.0W

    Hobbit Ale Barrels
There's also a single item on the table. Should be indoors + outdoors placeable.
For example, in Michel Delving - 33.3S, 75.3W

    Placeable Hobbit House Signs
For example, as used outside by the door for taverns - attached to house, but as an object.
For example, in Michel Delving - 33.4S, 75.3W

    Notice Board
Readable by those with Use Decoration permission, Editable only by those with Decorate permission. Opens a standard parchment window for reading.
For example, in The Quick Post, in Michel Delving.

    Hobbit Stable
For our ponies, and Bingo when he's had one too many.
For example, in Michel Delving - 34.2S, 75.5W

    Hobbit Tent
    For example, in Waymeet - 32.6S, 72.6W

    Hobbit Vegetable Garden
Usable as farm field, smaller than regular vegetable garden.
    For example, in Hobbiton-by-Water - 31.2S, 70.9W

    Hobbit Workbench
    Usable, Small.
    For example, in Hobbiton-by-Water - 30.3S, 70.7W

    Hobbit Stage
Doesn't need all the bells and whistles, but at least it would be the right scale.
For example, at The Party Tree - 29.8S, 71.5W

    Housing Items
Hobbit Shelf with Books & Barber Pole
    Separate items, both Small.
For example, in the Bird and the Baby Inn.

    Tiny Casks of Ale
    Separate items, both Small.
For example, in the Bird and the Baby Inn.

    Hobbit Ladder
    Small.
For example, in The Quick Post, in Michel Delving.

    Hobbit Workbench
    Usable, Small.
For example, in the Michel Delving crafting area - 34.6S, 75.4W

    Hobbit Forge (Large)
    Usable, Small.
For example, in the Michel Delving crafting area - 34.6S, 75.4W

    Hobbit Forge (Small)
    Usable, Small.
For example, in the Michel Delving crafting area - 34.6S, 75.4W

Then there's assets like the notices in the Brokenboring's Watch Office, the cracks in the wall of the Brokenboring's tavern, and indoor house signs. As far as I know, the only indoor house sign available to us is the Prancing Pony, yet there's so many more in game!

Finally - the Small Oak Tree from the Shire. There's a large one but not a small one as far as I can tell, seems a short (hah) oversight.

I have two requests I've wanted for a long time:

    1. The sign for The Plough and Stars tavern in Brockenborings.

I was excited when the Pancing Pony sign became a housing item. I hoped all the Shire taverns would get their turn - but the Plough and Stars is the one I like best.

    2. Music items with ONE song on them.

For years I used a music item that only played one song - a lovely, quiet acoustic guitar piece. A few years ago the item was changed - apparently it had been bugged - and the gentle acoustic piece I loved was followed up with a jarring, overloud Hobbit jig.

The Unwelcome Mat came up during the stream today. With the move from dungeon boss fight drops and more toward barterable items, I'd like to put in a vote for a barterable version of the Unwelcome Mat.

Bonus: A happy version where it's a Welcome Mat and a ghosty hobbit waves at you as you come near.

Another vote for the tavern signs from the Shire, Minas Tirith, etc. I have a keg room in my house with the Prancing Pony sign, it would be nice to have more representation there.

A regular (non-snowy) Bingo house visitor would be nice too.

Speaking of Bingo, I guess this is not directly housing related, but a repeatable quest to earn Bingo badges would be most excellent. There are some housing items I neglected to get on my main, spending my badges on other stuff. When I decided to get them, I had to run an alt through the whole Bingo line again. Or at least unlock all Bingo vendors right away so we can just do a few quests and then zip to the vendor for the item we want. A super-vendor outside Bingo's house with all the items would be even better, while I'm dreaming.

    Request: Dwarf Well

I would like to suggest the addition of water to the bottom of the Dwarf Well. It looks a little off having it sit with snow/dirt/stone at the bottom, especially in Thorin's Halls Homesteads.

    Thanks

What you are seeing with these items is the Player Keylight effect. All of these dayfiles are originally crafted to suit their home location, and their colors and properties may not work perfectly in a different location with different assets but we wanted to provide the option.

If you'd like to see versions of those dayfiles without the keylight, I encourage you to put a request into the Game Asset Housing Decorations Suggestion thread (https://forums.lotro.com/forums/show...on-Suggestions) and we may be able to get to it as we work through that list.
Sooo, thanks to Scenario's kind suggestion, here I am, humbly requesting versions of the Ambient Environment dayfiles without the Player Keylight effect (especially the Glimmerdeep Cave one) as it does tend to change the overall look of a given housing ambient environment quite dramatically. Many thanks!!

I would also like to join in with the request for more Tavern Signs!

    Thanks again!!

Idk if this would be possible or not, but I'd like to request the Goblin Town theme song music (the goblin town from Shadows of Angmar). I couldn't find it in game as a music theme that could be bought or earned. Maybe add it as a Deed reward or possibly a Rep vendor item for Elves of Rivendell.

PS if the music theme is in the game please tell me where. I'm really liking it and want it in my house.

Split fire pit hook in two

In the standard Erebor house, putting fire pits in the fire pit hook seems overwhelming for the size of the space. So I put a feasting table in there, which also seems overscaled for the space. It would be great if that hook could be split in two, so half could be fire pits and half could be a feasting table.

Would also requiring downsizing a fire decor and a table decor to fit the smaller hooks.

    Thanks for your consideration!

I can't quite take screenshots of these due to link issues, but Scenario, you know what they are RE- your livestream:

Scenario, could you please add to the Falathlorn Housing vendor.......... the pink and white variants of the cherry tree assets as housing decorations?

Yes, I am referring to the cherry trees that are the re-paints of the Bree-land tree models. These are the cherry trees you use to make Falathlorn a unique setting; they are all over the place throughout Falathlorn. There are pink and white variants of these cherry-blossom trees. You are currently looking into whether the landscape designers of Yondershire could add more of those to western Yondershire to transition more from Falathlorn to the more Shire parts of Yondershire.

They are also all over southeastern Lossarnach and a deep forest in the current Spring Festival seasonal instance set in Lossarnach.

Please make these housing decorations! I cannot tell you how awesome it would be to have those. It's been 15 years without the ability to plant cherry-blossom trees in our own housing yards.

I can't think of a better anniversary gift since Ered Luin is on everyone's radar again with Yondershire. Please add cherry-blossom trees as decorations. Thanks for listening!

    Cheers!

I think it goes without saying that with the recent Dayfiles/Cavefiles added that we need more housing music to compliment these added changes. I think of the Carn Dum Dayfile, and I think we need more variety of ambient music items to cater to unique dayfiles such as that one. I'm hoping you Scenario and Bill Champagne are in the works for some extra ambient music items to be added into the game in the near future!

And the non-premium neighborhoods should receive these exterior music hooks/dayfile hooks for extra creativity. DEW IT!

I agree that the trees in the elven area of Ered Luin and in Falathlorn are magical! It's still one of my favourite places in the game.

Until we get the pink and white flowered trees, I've been using the myrtle trees to create a similar environment. They're only in pink, but are quite beautiful with lovely bark. I put four or five in the yard of my Temple of the Four Elements house in Belfalas - really creates a wonderful atmosphere (3 Cape Rd, Ristal, Gladden). They're available as rep barter in Henneth Annun. Cheers! Below is a screenshot from D&Co du Milieu decorating website:
